"Was adequate enough for one night." (107463720)

Nice breakfast, helpful staff with regard to directions to specific wedding venue.

Very lumpy mattresses; one bedside lamp did not work; kettle only got to boiling point if you held your finger on the button and an intermittent flickering red light (some sort of immersion/power indicator?) was a bit annoying during the night.

    "Poor" (107494840)

Breakfast very good. Staff very friendly & welcoming

Room not clean, room not cleaned daily in fact not cleaned during our entire stay, hallway & stair carpets not clean, no obscure glass in bathroom, no bath, cracked & chipped tiles in bathroom, bed very small & uncomfortable, furniture in room falling apart, lights in communal lounge not working, Wi-Fi unreliable & not publicised very well, no welcome pack, no fire emergency instructions, car park too small.

Excellent location, extremely clean, Best of food. All original traditional British style furniture. The proprietor went out of her way to assist me and radiated a warm that you rarely see these days. Great place to stay for family friends or business. Definitely go again and stay longer next time. "We could not praise the staff highly enough for their efforts to make us feel welcome and looked after. Our experience can be summarised as exceptionally good customer care in comfortable, clean accommodation with the best english breakfast we've had in years. We would recommend the Oakleigh very highly, and we will be returning in the future." (99388672)

The building is well located very close to the canal and basin, and just two minutes walk from the High Street. The accommodation is clean and well decorated/furnished.

"The hotel was as I envisaged. ( I had asked local relatives for their views). It lived up to the advertised expectations." (99090389)

Location. Carparking.Friendliness of staff. Spacious/airy room with good view/facilities. Good breakfast.

We did get caught out in the pretty garden, where furniture was being stained. We realised this by touching it, but didn`t realise the freshly sanded seat had not been wiped down and we got wood dust on our clothes.

"Would say hotel was in good position to view surrounding town and countryside. Reasonably economic. could request what you wanted for breakfast. eg variation of English breakfast. Treated cordially by staff." (99359103)

very quiet and could come and go whenever.

Bed could have been a little more comfortable, a larger double would have been preferable

"Excellent. Friendly and personal service (actually showing me to my room). Good room - had everything you could want, and clean. It was haphazard in furniture style (Argos desk!), but it added to the character of the place." (3304814788)

    Friendliness of the staff.

The room was a little too warm - the window only opened a small amount.

"The guest house is ideally situated in the centre of Stourport on Severn, within walking distance of the town and ideally positioned for all surrounding amenities and attractions. I don't know how many rooms they have there but if full, the car park may get a bit crowded. We only styed 1 night so can only comment on the breakfast which was excellent and in view of our room, it needs updating. Overall though an attractive buidling, large sunny garden, and attentive staff." (3304803343)

The guest house staff were very friendly and helpful, it was very clean and the breakfast was excellent.

I can't comment about all the rooms, but ours which was on the ground floor could have done with some updating, particularly the en suite shower room.

"The property is very atractive from the outside and the internal decor was also good clean and welcoming. Car parking was easy (although there were only 3 rooms occupied on the night we stayed) We were not disturbed by any noise and the owner and breakfast waitress were friendly and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would definitely return." (3304385489)

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Request for a room overlooking the river had been noted and was delivered. He also arranged a taxi for us and suggested the best way of securing a return taxi (Saturday evening) Breakfast was very good. Both lounge and breakfast areas were very pleasant.

    None.
