Very good - very clean apartments with basic facilites - air con a bit dated but did the job. Right next door to a good cafteria/bar.
Basic hob and fridge - don't expect to cook a gourmet dinner with the appliances provided.

The view which this apprtment offer is wonderful.
We took two room apartments which was largeenough for us, with two kids, to stay for several days.

Apartamentos Balcon de Maro, Nerja - Reviews & Ratings"Such a lovely little town with a steep country road down to the sea. The cafe downstairs was friendly and popular during the day. Accommodation had fab views of the sea and was spacious and comfortable. We're planning to head back there in the spring" (97889211)

relacion precio calidad muy buena. Consejo abtenerse sibaritas, estos que reserven en hoteles de cinco estrellas, que quiere la gente por ese precio en temporada alta. Me he llevado un grato recuerdo de mi estancia.

Good view of the sea and car parking was good.
We booked an apartment and ended up with 1 room that had a mezzanine level with 2 single beds. Access to the mezzanine level was via steep stairs and only had a single rail at adult waist height to stop you falling into the main room. This was open and totally unsuitable for young children. Also the aged air conditioning unit did not reduce the temperature in the mezzanine sleeping area.The shower rail fell down when in the shower and the toilet flush was loose and came away in your hand, luckily we were able to fix this ourselves. The kitchen was very old and needed replaced with mismatched plates and cutlery. The kitchen sink tap was so loose that it was leaking down into the cupboard below and had made the wood rotten. No one had looked at this before we arrived as when we went to use the plates rotten damp wood had fallen onto the dinner plates etc. This was disgusting and had evidently been like this for some time. Despite being advised on the safety notice to lock the balcony door when leaving the room for our protection we were unable to do so as the lock did not work. We tried to speak to the staff however there was a fiesta on in Maro that weekend right across from the Hostal and we could not get anyone in the office. On the day of check out we simply wanted to leave as we were so disappointed in our experience.The room details also asked us to leave for 11am not 12pm as advertised. Additionally there was a notice to say that credit cards, bank cards and cheques were not accepted contrary to what was advertised.
