Arcantis Hotel Au Grand St Jean, Beaune - Reviews & Ratings"For a single-night stay, this hotel represents good value for money. The room we had was very clean although old and lacking in some fundamentals. " (108349394)
The room was very clean, the staff were very efficient (and spoke quite good English), the rates represent good value, the hotel is very central to centre ville.
The whole establishment (especially the guest rooms) is quite old and looks outdated, the hotel is busy and therefore quite noisy, there was no "stand-up" shower, no hair-dryer and the lighting in the bathroom was poor.

No elevator to the upper floors is a problem for our big luggage

We have stayed at this hotel several times over many years. It has been re-furbished and the breakfast upgraded. The secure overnight car parking is great.
There is a need to install stand-up showers in the bathrooms. We could not book car parking on-line, but there is plenty available.

Staff very friendly and helpful, great access to the main town, great value for money, parking onsite
The room we stayed in was quite warm and too noisy from the streets below to have the windows open

Everything essential is there. The staff is excellent.
bath tub has no curtain. water spilled out to the floor after taking a shower.

Arcantis Hotel Au Grand St Jean, Beaune - Reviews & Ratings"we drove past the hotel-as when i looked at the map on the internet it did not mean anything to me- i was looking for the name arcantis- not stjean-and you are upon it before you know it- opposite the market/parking square would have been helpful-otherwise-excellent" (99754393)
the check-in was quick and no fuss-the accomodation was excexptionally clean-almose new-ease of getting from car to room-access to city perfect-helpful staff, but left you alone-privacy to access room.
the colour scheme was not to my liking- very 'orange'-but that is a personal thing- pale lemon-or blue would be more french

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prijs laag. Ligging in centrum
Bad kon niet vollopen omdat de stop niet goed werkte. Ontbijt in verhouding duur. Zeer warm op de kamer, was wel warme dag, maar geen luchtbehandeling of zo.
