  It was very friendly. The room had an interesting decoration, with many books.

  At this time of year, the room was too hot!. A fan had helped. My wife is allergic to dust and the room was not very clean.

  "A typical, charming French Hotel with the ambience of staying at a country house. Madame the owner had a partnership with a local restaurant (Bistro) run by someone whose other restaurant has a Michelin star. The menu was very good and very reasonable and it was very close to the hotel (walking distance for us and we don't like to walk!). The staff there were also very friendly and helpful unlike some other places we have eaten at in Chablis. We have previously stayed in the very expensive Logis De France Hostellerie Des Clos which did not offer much more for the money (purely a highly rated restaurant and parking included which is great for a one-off spoil yourself type of occasion but nothing more)."   charmingly French in every way! Clean, reasonably priced and in a good central position with optional parking (9 euros per night). All rooms were individually decorated and unoccupied rooms were left open for you to see in.

  Madame the owner was a law unto herself and closed the bar at 8pm one night without prior warning even though she had already served us a drink which we were having outside. Fairly noisy road but it is in the centre of Chablis!

  "We have stayed in this hotel on several occasions over the the last few years, we have always been most satisfied with the accomodation and services provided. It is our first choice whenever we visit Chablis." (3304119407)

  Easy to find,provision of secure parking,friendliness of staff,comfortable room,tea/coffee making facilities.

  "A warm welcome awaited us when we arrived after a long six hour drive. The staff were extremely pleasant and the hotel better than expected! Very quirky, homely, beautifully decorated, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in - The bed was so comfortable and the village of Chablis so pretty and peaceful we wish we'd booked in for an extra few nights! Unfortunately we were in the midst of a coast to coast 'Tour De France' and had to crack on to our next point of destination. However, we will certainly bear this lovely hotel in mind in the future - It would be ideal for a long, relaxing weekend break!" (3304543341)

  nice and quite situated in the middle of the town of Chablis and a few good restaurants around. also enough chataux were you good have many tasteries good relaxing atmosphere

  bathroom and w.c not totally separated from the bed room roof was open aperently breakfasts are always exclusive why? it should be included!

  "The location of the hotel is great, in the center of the beautiful village of Chablis. Upon arrival we were greeted by Nicole at the desk, she helped us check in and find the room in a most charming way, in excellent English. After which she told us some general information about the village, about what there is to do that evening and the following day (there being a big market was an interesting feat to find out). She also kindly helped us to get the car parked safely out of the way of the general traffic and, moreover, of the market which takes up a big part of the village. If you are looking for a place to stay in Chablis, I recommend staying at the Hotel Bergerand's Au Relais de la Belle Etoile." (2883005)

  Nicole, the proprietress of the hotel, is a very nice and charming lady, who made this hotel into a wonderful, friendly and homely experience for anyone who wishes to visit.
