Heating was switched off at night. Electric kettle was broken. Towels were torn. Shower curtain was mouldy. Mattress was full of lumps. No blanket was provided and it was cold with no heating

i didnt like anything about it!
it was dirty,the room smelled of smoke.it was obvious the bed sheets weren't cleaned and there was hairs all over the duvet cover. the cups in the room were also dirty.

Beersbridge Annex, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"i did find the room very compact and not really large enough if it was man and wife ,i was lucky it was my daughter and myself and not my husband or i wouldve ended up on the floor as i would not call the beds double beds in double rooms!!!.but apart from that and the lift not working at the start of our stay and the size of the bed yes ,everything was great and i would recommend it too any young person ." it was great value for money and handy to the city centre ,room was very clean staff very friendly and very helpful indeed.
well im disabled and when i arrived the lift was broke and i had too climb 3 flights of stairs ,my back was killing me by the time i got to the top of the 3rd floor!!Then my daughter and i came back in from a very tiring day too find that there were alot of young people who were so noisey ,i asked them to quieten down a bit and was told to f..k off ,!! then when we went out on the sunday afternoon ,we returned to find that the spring on the door had fell off some how ,"how" i dont know but it sure wasnt myself or my daughter ,that part frightened me as i thought someone of those young people tried to kick the door in or something ,maybe not ,maybe it just needed repaired i dont know ??

Only a 20min walk to centre of town, taxi into town less than £5.00.
Toilet/shower room far too small, tv did not work at all,corridor smelt of smoke all the time, although it was suppose to be non smoking.

self contained secure parking - although the gates were open on both times of entry/exit this visit.
Although a non smoking hotel the room smelt strongly of smoke on entering.When offered an alternative room that room was dirty - smears all over the TV screen, dirty window ledges and surfaces - hence choose the original room and froze keeping the window open to air the smell. the TV had exceedingly poor reception and in the second room there was no reception at all. the fridge in the second flat smelt very strongly of gone off produce (although it was empty) and would have been unhiegenic to use.

Secure parking. Excellent Recepctionst. Close to bus and taxi. Area good no roudy behaviour at weekend. Good Quiet hard working cleaners.
Room not as on website. Computers not working. Tv sometimes defective.Room well used would need a spruce up.

just one bad point the bed was rubbish and needs throwing out.the springs were sticking up and made the night very uncomfortuble

clean and tidy great for a short stay
was advertised when booking close to hampdon park and we wanted to be in walking distance.This was not the case and it ended up after the concert taking three hours to get back. we were all cold and wet so it did spoil our weekend in Scotland (all six of us)

Room was clean with brand new towles provided. Ensuite was adequate and clean.
Window in room could not be closed as hing was broken and heater had been left on full to compensate. Rained very heavily and water was coming through window through the nigh.

Hotel was well priced and very good value for money.
One of the rooms in my group hadn't been cleaned and we had to change. I didn't receive my e-mail confirmation and had to chase this up, I was then referred to "Head-Office" to request a confirmation. This took 15 minutes for a simple e-mail to be sent. Although check-in is usually 3pm, the management agreed to let us check in at 12pm as we had been travelling overnight. Upon arrival I found that the promised "note on the system" hadn't been made. Fortuanately the lady on the front desk was very helpful and agreed to let us check in anyway.

It was cheap, reasonably central, perfect if budget is a prime concern and you don't mind staying in student-accommodation type room.
The plastic toilet-cum-shower cubicle put me off the desire to attempt having a shower.

Beersbridge Annex, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was very secure; i felt safe due to the fact that we needed a scanner to get in the building. The rooms were clean and warm. The area was good, and maps were provided which was helpful. One thing i would say is- although i appreciated this hotel, no mention of the fact that it was student accomodation was made on the website or at any stage of the booking process. I am a student so student accomodation didn't phase me; but for anyone who wants to stay in a traditional 'hotel' this might not be the place for you. The hotel is excellent value for money."
