Radisson SAS Hotel Leeds, Leeds - Reviews & Ratings"I Would recommend this hotel and booking service as the room rate was very cheap for the quality of the place and its central location, close to the Leeds Academy which is where we went on the night. I Can highly recommend the Loch Fyne restaurant for a fine seafood meal in great surroundings - also very good value for money." (107131945)
Lovely clean room and clean bathroom. Very central, walking distance to most city centre attractions.
Room was baking hot with no opening windows and air-con unit was too loud for my wife to be able to sleep while it was on! Breakfast was not included in the price (which i knew at the time of booking) and expensive to buy on the day - So went out for brekkie!

I was bumped to the Presidential Suite! To be fair I have stayed here before and the normal rooms are also fine.

Spotless throughout the hotel.Good quality lighting /bed/bathroom/shower/toiletries in the room plus very good sports coverage on TV.Excellent location to city's amenities
Complicated coffee making in room !! Breakfast was a little frought with so many very heavy hot lids to take on take off and was a little cramped in the serving area and only scrambled / boiled eggs available

It is centrally placed in Leeds and perfect for a shopping trip and night out as everything is in easy walking distance. Fortunately I know someone who works in Leeds and we were able to park at her offices very closeby avoiding the extortionate charges to park in The Light, so we were lucky. Our preference was for a no smoking room (which stated on the website could not be guaranteed), however, we were put in a smoking room. The room was clean and didn't smell so we didn't ask to be moved but as the hotel was v. quiet (we never saw another person in the corridors or lift during our stay), I think more of an effort could have been made to accommodate our wishes. However, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and will definately be staying again when we plan another short stay in Leeds." (99964346)
The hotel has a very modern feel to it, the room was clean and well laid out and the staff were friendly and efficient, all you could ask for really.

Liked the room. Liked the restaurant/bar area. Liked Leeds
Room smaller than expected. Room overlooked a 'breeze block' courtyard. Windows didn't open. The price seemed to promise more than the hotel delivere. Disappointed that I had to pay a significant further price for Car Parking

beautiful room in a great location.
Room service food was of a very [poor standard. As a solo female traveller i dined from the room service menu several times and was amazed that a hotel of such good reputation should have such a limited menu and poor quality food.

Housekeeping was excellent, helpful and understanding
Having booked 5 months in advance for a one night stay and nothing was mentioned about the rooms during the check-in process it was annoying to discover we had been given disabled rooms. One room had no bath but a shower with a waist-high screen meant for a wheelchair. The rooms had no carpets. On asking for another room we were told the hotel was full. This was a lie as not everyone had checked in at that point. On a trivial point, I don't want to stay in a hotel where the decor (chair backs and glass tables in rooms) glamourise smoking.

Radisson SAS Hotel Leeds, Leeds - Reviews & Ratings"Beautiful hotel, extremely stylish, modern and clean. Rooms very comfortable and good size, lovely bathrooms, and excellent breakfast. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Unfortunately, the bar area attracted antisocial people, group of drunk men on the evening, causing a disturbance and smokers in the morning (bar area right next to breakfast area) but hotel staff not addressing this. Rather abrupt and miserable bar staff. Hotel in city centre so staff should be more vigilent, especially as it is a very pleasant bar area for residents to relax on an evening. Lovely hotel, first stay was so good we booked again a month later as we visit Leeds a lot. Sadly, the second stay was not so good due to noise in room at night (hum from the a/c which was turned off) and disturbance in bar." (99686937)

"The location of the hotel was excellent - right next to several nice restaurants and main shopping areas. Everything was within walking distance. The room was a good size, clean and the decor neutral and in good condition. Of note is the parking arrangements - I didn't realize that the hotel didn't have spaces for the hotel guests available, and the price of parking was more than I expected (£15 pr day)." (97010918)
Clean and good size bed & room
I'm Danish and English is not my first language and I had particular trouble understanding some of the staff as they spoke with a heavy foreign accent. The staff was very nice, but some answers I just didn't understand.
