wouldnt open front door untill dead on 2pm rude check in lady treated like being in the army made to queue at 815am for breakfast in hallway wasnt allowed dinner (we asked at 4pm) and got very rude answer would rather sleep on beach than stay there again you advertise it as a hotel ITS A GUEST HOUSE so the check in lady kept telling us!!!

The Royal Bridlington, Bridlington - Reviews & Ratings"In spite of arriving late, and leaving early the staff were very helpful. The bed was blissfully comfortable and I fell asleep within minutes. When I visit the area again I will definitely stay at the Royal again." (97880897)
The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was cooked to order and fantastic, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel was fantastic!

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Extremely helpful staff and wonderful food, dinner in particular was excellent. Bar area was inviting with good service and value for money.
Do not have any bad points to raise.

Very clean premises and extremely good male serving staff, a pleasure to be attended to so efficiently.
To find a sink in a otherwise very nice bedroom was a dissapointment, perhaps a bit more thought could have gone into the design of the en suite.

The room although small was very well appointed and the en-suite was modern and functional.
Breakfast from 8-15 to 9-15 may be OK for the tourist but is late for the business guest. Had to really rush to get any breakfast in.

The staff were extremely helpful and made the whole check-in and check-out process hassle free. The interior of the hotel and the individual rooms were nicely decorated and individual. We couldn't find any faults with the place and would definitely return." (99311151)
The service was great and the hotel lovely. The beds were very comfy. The complimentary breakfast was tasty and the service excellent. Our entire party of 5 enjoyed the stay and would return again.

It had a double bed and a single bed, which took up most of the floor space, making the room most uncomfortable. The room had a Velux type window in the roof with a blind that allowed light through. my husband and myself spent the easter bank holiday at The Royal Bridlington and although we had all the elements weather wise our stay at the hotel was the warmest we had had the pleasure of at any Yorkshire Hotel. The welcome of the staff was lovely, the choice of food was exceptional all in all the hotel could not be faulted. We will definately be returning in the summer.
