Schofield Guest House, Bridlington - Reviews & Ratings"Having stayed in Bridlington before, I knew where to find the hotel, One of the good things about the Schofield was the car park. I stayed with my grandson and we were made very welcome and would go back at a later date." (99385278)

Friendly and welcoming on arrival...excellent standards of cleanliness throughout, and brilliant value for money!
The only downside was the bloke in the next room snoring - everything else was perfect!

It was very close to all attractions and the Town centre.
Nothing at all, very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Schofield Guest House, Bridlington - Reviews & Ratings"I found the Schofield Hotel to be very comfortable with a lovely homely atmosphere, I was made most welcome by the hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room although small (single) was very comfortable, warm and clean. The full English breakfast was excellent, with copious amounts of tea and toast! It is in a convenient position for all ameneties in the resort." (99723141)

One or two creaky floorboards!

Schofield Guest House, Bridlington - Reviews & Ratings"This is what I would describe as a good traditional seaside guest house/hotel.We received a friendly welcome on our arrival. The room was compact but clean and tidy and more than adequate for our requirements. The advertised car park was of no use to us as my Nissan Primera would not fit down the narrow acccess way. We were given a residents parking pass for the duration of our stay but street parking was in quite short supply. Overall I would have no problem with staying at the hotel again on further visits to Bridlington." (97983854)

Schofield Guest House, Bridlington - Reviews & Ratings"i would like to have known before i arrived what time breakfast was searved also would have like to have known you were not allowed to take food back to you room. this hotel was somewhat disapointing for the money we payed. the overall feel we had was that it was in need of some tlc and updating. i wouldnt stay again." (97051346)
Parking available at rear most others in area don'thave parking.
no light in the bathroom apart from small shving light the shower hose in the en_suite was cable tied on so couldn't be adjusted no good for me as 6ft. pillows far to thick too! the hotel looked a bit grubby and the floors really looked in need of a good hoover. there were launndry bags left in the hall for two days of our 3 night stay.

Schofield Guest House, Bridlington - Reviews & Ratings"5 rooms were booked 3 double and 2 singles. Land lady assured us that our people carrier would fit down the side of the hotel to access the car park but with quite a wide car and cars being parked all along the street we found alternative parking which was inconvenient. 3 out of the 5 rooms booked were compact but were adequate for the 1 night. All things considered the Hotel served it's purpose well and was excellent value for money." (97418930)
Very friendly and welcoming, public area and bedrooms clean, excellent breakfast
Not being on suite, 3 of the rooms out of the 5 booked were very small, although close to town centre and therefore convenient it was very noisy around 2am-3pm

Schofield Guest House, Bridlington - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was O.K, but not outstanding. The Hotelier was very pleasant and friendly. She seemed to be the only member of staff, doing breakfasts, and cleaning on her own. There was no other food available after an adequate breakfast (0830-0900) until the following mornings, an evening meal would have been nice, before relaxing in the lounge with a coffee (which was also not available) We are a retired couple, and it was very tiresome after spending a day out, having to go out again in the evening to get something to eat." (99768515)
The hotel was situated in the town ,offering easy access to shops, bus station, harbour, promenade, amusements, and excellent beaches. also free private offroad parking.
on-suite was very small. tv, and voices from other guests, could be clearly heard from adjacent rooms.Bath towels not changed daily
