  "In view of amenities available and closeness to where we wanted to be the hotel suited our needs. The discounted price was more than I would have expected for the standard of hotel booked on line." (99002141)

  The hotel was in a good location with good facilities and the staff were pleasant and helpful

  Although travelling with our two adult sons we were initially put in rooms at opposite ends of the hotel which seemed strange since the booking had been made well in advance. Our room had clearly not been cleaned i.e. it was obvious bedlinen and towels had been used. We were then given a room in corridor adjacent to our sons which had been cleaned and was obviously more convenient.

  Inexpensive - good basic accomodation close to our family in England.

  No lift. We had a large number of bags and had to carry them up to the third floor. It would have been helpful to know that there was no lift prior to making the reservation.

  Expensive for late booking one night stay no lift to upper floors with luggage

  Location of hotel was excellent for national trust properties and also shopping outlets.

  "when next booking hotel accomodation I will check where in the hotel the room is located, due to this bad experience. we would like to have known there was a wedding function being held that night and most of its guest were in rooms next to us, so we have guest banging on our door and lots of shouting. However we did complain the following morning and we were given a " (99148506)

  Our room was clean

  Our room was next to a very busy and noisy staircase, unfortunately we were kept awake all night. Our room was also next to the laundry service area. We were provided with a kettle but no tea or coffee making ingredients? When we phoned reception to ask for some they told us to go and collect some from the reception.   restaurant slow service restaurant manager concentrated on what would appear clients spending more than us did not even get a hello or welcome most disappointed

  Everything was very clean and the staff extremely helpful.

  There seemed to be a constant strong smell of cigarette smoke and perhaps the hotel would benefit to just keeping smokers in the bar.

  "Very friendly and helpful receptionist, arrived an hour or so early and she let us check in early without me even having to ask, this definitely shows a high standard of service and if theres an employee of the month award she should get it, she even gave me great directions to bluewater the next day. Room was clean and contempory so very calming and ideal for a weekend break. After spending the day quad biking it was great to get back to the health spa for a workout, sauna, stream and jacuzzi. Well located for links to bluewater and tunbridge wells etc. High price compared to other hotels I have stayed in but either way worth it as I would book again ;)" (3305116948)

  reception staff, room and health spa. Good amount of leaflets about kent in reception but since I live in the city and take weekend breaks monthly, it would be helpful to have some kind of hospitality service in terms of booking the extra short notice rural activities like horse riding, jet skiing etc

  lower standard of service at night bar which was advertised as 24 hour but they locked up early. It would also be nice if it were possible to order room service food at the bar to eat at the bar area after 11pm as did not realise the snacks advertised at the bar only included crisps and peanuts. Would be better if it offered several night stay deals or short notice discounts easily online as I would of stayed longer if pricing was better
