Starhotels Michelangelo Rome, Rome - Reviews & Ratings"The location of the hotel is fantastic as it is only a 5 minute walk to the Vatican. When you come out of the hotel you immediately see the Dome of St Peters! It was just wonderful to be so near the Vatican as this was our favourite area of Rome. It was also very easy to visit all of the other famous sights from this location. We would definitely stay here again. Also there a lovely extensive buffet breakfast available to set you up for the day - served up until 10.30." (2191757)
Nice decor. All the little extras: tea/coffee facilities, towelling dressing gown/slippers, stool in bathroom/hairdryer, sweets on the bed. Spotlessly clean!
A new carpet as the one in the room was a little worn.

"Disappointing. Bland exterior and interior. Limited facilities. Shower curtain instead of screen so wet floors. Sunken drain whole in middle of bathroom floor. It's not even a good 3 star, let alone 4 star. Wafer thin double glazing meant you could hear the street, though not much traffic as area is quite quiet. Nice view of St. Peter's. Poor value for money, even by Rome's pricey standards" (97465843)
Location to Vatican. Quieter than Central Rome. Not far to bus stop
Never a 4 star. Very bland for the money. Like an overpriced travelodge. Needs proper double glazing
