Hotel Da Cesare, Stresa (Verbania) - Reviews & Ratings"a very nice and attractive building and location but it did look as if the hotel had moved on and become a wine business. the location for the room key when absent did not appear to be secure and other guests did not appear to be using it? it was very close to ferry terminal and in the centre of Strase. We had a good miday meal, tasty and fresh.
the hotel had a sitting room which they failed to tell us about until we requested a place to leeave our case for a couple of hours, this was a shame. breakfast was included, a buffet which was ok.

Very close to center of town and water front. Easy access from train station. Friendly staff. basic but functional room and facilities
Noisy windows/door/corridor. No reception area. Bed mattress was very poor for sleep-able. Although most stuff was adequately clean, some areas were very dust, rubbish under bed.
