Staff: rooms except see below:
Surprised no air conditioning; if this for eco reasons other systems of heat reduction should be better the room was quite stuffy and windows had very limited opening: Menu OK but rather limited

Quiet, clean tidy and lovely leisure centre. Breakfast expensive but good.
Difficulty finding hotel - it is right at 1st roundabout, not 2nd. Almost gave up.

Imago At Burleigh Court, Loughborough - Reviews & Ratings"This is a great hotel especially when you get the rooms at about half the rack rate. Great facilities including pool, gym and bar. " (108000233)
Very clean hotel, geared for conferences. Facilities excellent.
Check in did not pay attention when I asked about internet access - login required. Difficult to get in and out of town - especially during University holidays. Breakfast was additional and extortionate (15.50 for Full English)

Imago At Burleigh Court, Loughborough - Reviews & Ratings"Not good.." (97534813)
Very polite and helpful young staff in restaurant couldnt fault them. Desk staff however, not so. Very clean and pleasant hotel.
Had to wait over one and a half hours to get a table for pm meal and menue was very poor and limited. I had previously rang down to desk t ask if I had / could reserve a table for dinner hours before and was told there was no proble and I could'nt book. When we got to the 'make shift' restaurant (as the main one was being used for a wedding dinner!!) we were told we should have made a reservation and we could have a table over an hour later. We then proceeded to wait in the bar area to get a deink (but gave up) after my husband was waiting 25mins just to get a beer and a coke.. they were serving the wedding guests. I feel we should have at he very least been told that a wedding was taking place, more to the point, how it would effect the hotel guests so much. The 2nd night (Sunday) was ok. The heat(and noise) coming from the pipes in our bedroom was unbearable, we had to jam the window wide open all night along with another guest had the same problem on our floor. To be honest, unless there is absolutely no-where avalable I don't think we (or others from what I hear on the night) will be returning to your hotel..Sorry. I think it was expensive considering we had to line up for a buffet type meal, could'nt use the pool when we got back as it closes at 5pm on saturdays and could'nt sit in the lounge or get a drink for absolutley ages. Worst of all we suggested your hotel to a friend who also stayed the same time, saying how nice it was - very embarrassing..

The hotel satisfied all my needs and made my stay easier as I have recently moved from South Africa to London. The receptionist on the 21st June Anneassisted in calling a taxi and getting a Italian couple to share the cost. Most grateful.Angela the room attendant hopefully will get recognised even though its her job.

Better than basic accommodation which met all my needs as an over(2)night traveller

Imago At Burleigh Court, Loughborough - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel is located on the University grounds and as such there is access to a reasonable bus service in and out of town. However Sunday service starts late. You can take the University bus service from the railway station to the University library and from there it is a short walk. The hotel is pretty standard fare for conference facilities. Well serviced rooms, good breakfast, bar and evening meals (though I thought quite a limited menu choice). The gym and pool facilities are adults only." (97878083)
Friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Imago At Burleigh Court, Loughborough - Reviews & Ratings"I was attenting a conference within the university grounds, so the hotel was very conveniently situated. It would be handy for parents of students at the university. Not clearly sign posted. A collegue phoned me and told me to make sure I went in the West entrance, which made my drive easier. Had I not heard from my collegue it would have been much more difficult. Food and service in the restaurant was good althoug again lacked atmosphere." (97933316)
Clean and tidy. Restaurant staff were very attentive.
A little bit faceless. Lacked atmosphere.

Modern, airy, clean and comfortable. Quiet.
A squishier pillow might have been good but this is being extra 'niggly'

Poor noise insulation between rooms. Very loud (and some very obnoxious) wedding party guests on Saturday night-no seperate bar area for other hotel residents.

Imago At Burleigh Court, Loughborough - Reviews & Ratings"Would I would have liked to known: the best way to travel to Donnington! Traffic was a nightmare! How about arranging a coach etc if you know quite a few people are going? I should have asked about what conferences would be on whilst we were staying so I knew the type of people would be there (could of organised somewhere else to go for evening meal). Most importantly - you need extra signage to help find the hotel in the uni grounds - everyone we asked told us a different way." (99354313)
excellent friendly staff, bed was oomfy, nice tv in room, bathroom was reasonably clean & nice shower. Quiet location.
Very difficult to find hotel. Drove around most of uni site trying to find it. furniture in room broken (missing handles etc) and old fashioned. Net curtain fell down when trying to open window. Room was very stuffy even with window open (could of been the weather tho'). There was dirt/dust around the edge of the room - only the middle had been hoovered - the cleaner needs to get his/her nozzle out!! There were some very 'odd' people staying at the hotel too.

Imago At Burleigh Court, Loughborough - Reviews & Ratings"I like the hotel, the spa. I want to be loyal, you are very convenient for my business trips, but the food service is so disappointing and last Saturday was the worst I have experienced. Noise from extractor fans in spa disturbing in room 127 and that side of hotel." (99588744)
Room and spa excellent, good parking, easy.
Restaurent chaos - not first time I'm afraid. Next time will eat out! Not enough bar staff. Menu unadventurous.

Imago At Burleigh Court, Loughborough - Reviews & Ratings"as it was a short stay, the poor meal over shadowed our stay and was the most memorable part. Our room was extremely warm and there was no indication of how to reduce the heat level. The leisure facilities closed at 6pm on the saturday, as we arrived at 5.30 it was not possible for us to use these facilities. I would consider 6pm extremely early." (99960931)
extremely helpful reception staff
Meal in the bar was awful! There was a wait of over 45 minutes. Food flavour was extremely poor, service of staff in this area was extremely poor also. Lack of choice on the menu was disappointing

My room on this last occasion (189) is airless. Even with the window wide open its position overlooking the courtyard seems to prevent any air flowing through the window.

"Good value for money." (107940433)
Good sized rooms that were well appointed. No traffic or other noise!
Not enough staff during breakfast. For such an early check-out time breakfast should have been slicker with more staff monitoring guest needs.
