Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"Very good" (108059862)
Could not open the windows. When we should leave we were told that we could have asked for a key to open them, but this was not shown in the room. Therefore we have ticked off poor with facilities. Otherwise everything was very good.

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"The food was the highlight of our stay. The restaurant experience was excellent. The standard of the 'superior' room was very poor indeed. Very dated, tired and uncomfortable. The hotel looks impressive but needs to be up-dated to a better standard." (97307042)
The room was dated and had clearly just been decorated. There was a thick film of dust even on the cups and an overpowering smell of paint. The bed had no headboard and was uncomfortable. The bath panel was badly cracked and the toilet was dirty from years of use.

Town centre location, but quiet. 'Superior' room in annex definitely roomier than standard room in main building, where we have stayed before.
Slight stale smell pervading, maybe smoke overlaid with heavy air freshener.

The room was well equiped with plenty of space. It was also quiet and comfortable
The shower did not contain the water to well and flooded the bathroom

On ground floor door opening on to car park. Dustbin men woke me up both mornings. Door lock very stiff and should be a chain on the door as I felt vunerable.

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"This is the third time we have stopped at the Three Swans. It is conveniently located, but do feel that the restaurant prices are excessive and lack atmosphere. However, the breakfast food was good. Cannot understand why the Bistro closes on a Saturday night!" (99873461)

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"Very conveniently located in the centre of Harborough, but quiet. Adequate parking. Nice old-fashioned feel to public areas, with lots of lovely flowers. Restaurant comfortable and pleasant in a chintzy way; we did not dine in, but breakfast was good. Standard room was a bit cramped (4'6 bed with a narrow margin, TV, trouser press, teamaking squeezed in)and no actual bath in the splendidly pampas bathroom." (99350459)
Pleasant old-style coaching house hotel, welcoming and adequately equipped. Particularly liked the many fresh flower arrangements in the public area.
Rooms have a very dated feel. The standard room we had was a bit cramped, and the bathroom (or rather shower room) had a very 1980s feel.

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"The layout of the hotel is a bit maze-like above the ground floor as additions have been made, but after a little coming and going, one gets used to the layout. Rooms towards the rear, those that overlook the street leading into town are subject to early-morning noise. The hotel itself was surprisingly quiet, even during the excitement of World Cup. Wonderful, central location to town, river, castle." (3304677020)
It was just what I expected, having lived in Wertheim some years ago. I never stayed at the Bronnbacher Hof while there but recalled it as clean and comfortable, which it still is.
Nothing

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting the town for a friends birthday party. The hotel was set over several buildings and our room was in a block by the car park. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The hotel it's self was fine and we found the staff very friendly. The breaksfast was very good and I would definetly recommend this to others wishing to stay in the area. The hotel is right in the middle of town with plenty of parking." (99445045)

Finished to a high quality. All equipment in perfect working order.
Very hot weather at time of stay, could benefit from a/c as ground floor windows do not open far because of security reasons.

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"The bed was comfortable but there was no blanket on the bed only the top bed-cover. The spare blanket smelled of cigarette smoke - even though the whole hotel is now non-smoking - so couldn't be used. Fortunately, the heating was good." (99791249)
Nice atmosphere, good breakfast
Reception was a bit off-hand

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"Very efficient staff who were extremely helpful in organising taxis to and from other venues. They also gave me a lot of helpful and useful information regarding the local area. The room was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped for both business people and holiday makers. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the smaller tables were situated in alcoves which was perfect for a single person. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area." (3305344080)
The staff, the standard of the rooms, the food and layout of the hotel.

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"We had a room overlooking the Conference centre we found the room noisy. Work starts early in the morning around 7.30am with deliveries and refuse collection, the noise mainly due to lorries reverse warnings and the trolleys used for housekeeping rolling across the courtyard. The hotel has a thoroughfare through to the town which does close from 1am until 5am, however, until then it can be noisy. I would only advise these rooms for heavy sleepers! The housekeeping staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good." (3305146989)
The town is on the doorstep-staff friendly.

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"Very handy for the centre of Market Harborough a clean and well run hotel although the dining room could have done with some new decor and furniture." (3304525284)
Location and the character of the main building
The decor and furniture in the dining room took me back thirty years and I've had a lot better breakfasts.

Best Western Three Swans Hotel, Market Harborough - Reviews & Ratings"The price for an overnight stay was very good and breakfast excellent, very hot, tasty and a fast service. The hotel itself is a pleasant building, comfy and lots of atmosphere. The only let-down was the room, which we found to be very small, you could not walk between the bed and the desk without pushing the chair in. The room was very warm as it was a very hot day and the windows could be opened wide, but air-con would ave been more effective. The major dislike was the noise and I know it can't really be blamed on the hotel! In Market Harborough the church bells are sounded on every quarter hour day AND NIGHT!!! so after hearing them throughout the night we then had the pleasure of the rubbish collectors in the courtyard from just after 7am. Maybe a superior room on the other side may have been better but I guess the church bells cannot be avoided. A great shame but I would only recommend to heavy sleepers!" (3304960543)
The town centre location, hotel had a nice friendly atmosphere
The room was rather small compared to other hotels, no air conditioning and a noisy night
