We loved the leisure facilities. Even though there was a wedding at hotel, on the same night, we were not disturbed and got a good nights rest.
Restaurant very expensive. Breakfast nice, but again over priced. Didnt like square pillows either.

Breakfast/food over priced. Square pillows are uncomfortable.

Nice, clean well-appointed room. Fitness suite and pool. General cleanliness of the hotel.
Very poor service in the bar. Kept waiting 40 minutes for bar snacks. Food a little pricey for what it was, but not excessively so.

Novotel Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes - Reviews & Ratings"We would definately stay again" (97425389)
I booked our stay online for a suprise Anniversary gift for my Husband and myself. I requested the room to be filled with baloons and gifts that I had purchased. I was very impressed that nothing was too much trouble. We found the accomadation very reasonable and we enjoyed our stay.
If there was one critism it would be that on the Sunday the breakfast choice, due to items running out inferior to that of Saturdays.

Novotel Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes - Reviews & Ratings"Hotel is clearly aimed at the mid week business traveler and is run on a shoe string at weekends." (107108697)
Quiet, convenient location. Good quality room, well equipped. Good breakfast.
Restaurant was not open on a Friday night. Food was served in the bar and was not up to usual Novotel standards. Service was also very slow - but we did get a free dessert when we complained.

Novotel Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes - Reviews & Ratings"Good" (97954153)
Close to place which was reason to visit MK. Good bar resteraunt
On arrival told resteraunt open to 2200 - not the case bar meals only however adequate. Also on arrival reception did not realise our 2 rooms were for my wife and i and the second for my step son. Step son 's bill included b'fast for two instead of just one. All sorted so no problem as such - just showed a lack of awareness of our booking and the size of our party.

Novotel Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes - Reviews & Ratings"great -except for the over priced and very very very slow service on food orders" (97557824)
ordered meals always take over an hour to be made even if it is not busy -it has been the same for the past 4 years-I always hope it will be better but this year you managed to take 45 mins for an icecream as well-where is you freezer-London?

Novotel Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes - Reviews & Ratings"The accomodation was very reasonable. We didn't use the leisure facilities but may have done if we were staying longer. The staff were all very friendly & accomodating - eg, we asked reception staff to book a taxi into town for us & they did so willingly. Also the spare bed in our family room was not made up & this was sorted out for us on request while we were out in the evening." (99447102)
Food was available pretty much all the time, so was very flexible as there didn't appear to be much else in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
there was nothing in particular to dislike. It isn't a top class hotel and is very reasonably priced.

The facilities and staff were very good. Most helpful and quick to resolve any problems
Room service was shocking. After travelling nearly 300 miles all we wanted was a decent meal and our bed. The food was not edible and had to be returned, no cutlery was supplied to eat the food.

The size of the room was fine. The bathroom was very good. The staff were very keen to help. The cleaners were very good. The fact that you had kids facilitys in the entrance was superb, and have never seen anything like that at any hotel we have stayed at.
Upon our arrival we had a cot in our room, however required another cot. We were told that the hotel was fully booked and that there were no spare cots. Myself and my wife were disappointed with this answer, to the effect that we were going to book into another hotel, and cut our losses. The only other issue was, the fact that each time I went to the bar I had to find somebody to serve me. There was never anybody stood at the bar.

Novotel Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes - Reviews & Ratings"Resturant was very poor service, waited up to one hour for food, never offered a bread roll the whole 4 night stay, always had to chase to get staff at the bar. If wanted to watch TV at bar only place was smoking. Breakfast was poor, cold tea and coffee, no orange juice. Seems that the reception and resturant was run by no more than three people yet fully booked???? Staff were even giving away free drinks to try and stop people complaining." (99064267)
Room Clean
No Wireless connection to work anywhere in hotel.

Refurbished, clean and fresh
Could not get a seat in the lounge area on the Saturday night - all seats taken it was so busy. Smoking in communal hotel areas. 'Background' music was too loud and intrusive

Novotel Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes - Reviews & Ratings"overall, you need to check up individual or people responsible for each dept. make sure eveything is filled in everyday. If i have to recommend your hotel to someone, i have to let pepole know." (99712931)
Simple and basic, the tea or coffee is not complete, there is no hot chocolate for night drink, the other novotel i stayed they provide a variety of hot drinks including herbal drinks, i am it will not cost you a lot if you provide a few.
the rooms is not too good, my bathroom has tissue paper dispenser, when i pull out on tissue the other tissue came out because the box is empty, i just used the toilet paper, on the following day i, i came in the evening to my room and the box is still empty, i could not be bother to call the reception, as i am staying there for a couple of days, but its not nice that the houskeeping dept. is not keeping the right checks for all these chambermaid who does the cleaning of the rooms.

"Overall we would use this hotel again but hopefully without the fire alarms going off at 5 am in the morning, which turned out to be a false alarm." (97430832)
Accommodation was nice and clean with good facilities
The bedroom pillows were not comfortable at all and we were disgusted with the price of wine at over £6 a glass.
