  "We had a well behaved dog with us and this caused no problem to the management. We were treated very well but the overall appearance of the hotel was uninviting." (97644767)

  The landlady was very friendly

  It was very dark, had a musty smell and the shower was terrible - did not work.

  "Shower leaked, bathroom was tiny, babys toys lying around the hotel due to a new arrival." (99304285)

  Location was good, near all shops, and pubs. Also next to the sea front. Everything was in walking distance.

  Room was small and outdated, no hot running water for the bath or sink.

  Very friendly and well kept B&B

  Under renovation and some aspects still did not work properly like heating and key cards for rooms

  "We had a lovely much needed break and only did not stay longer due to work commitments. I would recommend the Park Lodge to anyone looking for a night enjoying the night life Whitley Bay has to offer (which is lots for young and mature adults) and for a quiet break by the sea as it is far enough to not be bothered by noise. We will certainly go back both with our Biker friends and with our family." (99758151)

  The Hotel was warm and clean and close to the centre of the town and the main night life. Everyone was nice and nothing was too much bother.The breakfast was well presented and served with a smile.

  "Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Good location-town centre not to far away. Hotel in general could do with a bit of modernisation (just my personal opinion) but it was all very clean. Good breakfast in the morning." (99856478)

  the lady in charge was very friendly and helpful

  The bathroom was a bit old fashioned and needed a bit of modernising-the same as the t.v and decor in general could have been more modern-but was very clean

  "I would be very happy to stay again. My friend and myself were attending a reunion and I do not think we could have chosen better accommodation for the price: it was a clean and friendly place. The only dislike was the question of smoking which was allowed in the lounge." (3304698454)

  The location is excellent and the car parking,although not on site was very good. the lady who received us could not have been more helpful and the service and quality of the breakfast was very good.

  Would have preferred the non smoking policy to have been extended to the lounge area.

  The shower, it wasnt easy to get the right temperature, think it needs seeing to.

  Access was a bit of a problem through not having a key to the front door
