Hotel Central Hamburg, Altona - Reviews & Ratings"Only drawback was being opposite the station, so had to keep the windows closed at night. However, we were already aware of this from a customer review we read before making the booking. Very satisfied - value for money." (107516570)

Excellent location (very close to Altona station but sufficiently double-glazed to block out almost all noise), quiet and anonymous/impersonal (in a good way).
Small bathroom with an ill-designed shower cubicle and a shower curtain that didn't stretch all the way around - a simple recipe for a very wet floor...

unfriendly receptionist; althought at booking we requested 3 rooms at the quieter rear of building and repeated the request during check-in, we were giving 2 rooms at the noisy front without explanation or apology. tiny bathroom without hooks or hangers for towels
