"Hotel was easy to find and clearly signposted. The booking in was fast (due to our very late arrival I think) also due to this I only had breakfast before leaving, so could not comment on the resturant facilities but the food seemed fresh and tasty at breakfast." (99178988)

    Nice big rooms, excellent layout.

"Staff very pleasant. Noise from traffic outside woke me up at about 5.30 - 6.00 am each morning. Breakfast good and lunches good value. Didn't try dinner but a colleague said it was good value for money. The refurbishment meant that there was the sound of construction through the day - intrusive but not terribly so." (99051731)

Staff very good. Room itself pleasant. Breakfast quite good.

Sound insulation in room from traffic outside quite poor. Hotel is undergoing refurbishment at present which may remedy this. Toilet bowl loose on ground and seat not fitted well.

the room had a very nice view which was on the 6th floor It also had a lovely big queen bed which was very comfortable

the bathroom was very small with no air conditioning

  • 5/10 Graham ( Solo business traveller)

from New barnet , GB  on  April 17, 2007

    Room was nicely decorated.

Too much noise from the road (partly because one window did not shut properly). Very poor picture quality on the TV and poor choice of channels. Telephone socket next to the bed did not work. Bedside light on one side of the bed did not work.

"An excellent Hotel, conveniently located close to Cork city and its environs. Luxury at a modest price. Comfortable rooms, welcoming atmosphere and very hospitable staff. ADefinitely worth a visit!" (99105333)

Clean, refreshing decor both in the rooms and throughout the hotel. Lobby - very welcoming and oused welcome and grandeur on a modest scale.
