Cheap, clean, easy to locate, close to facilities and public transport including direct line to LHR airport.
Reading light didn't work, TV reception pretty average, privacy lock on door not operational. All fixable.

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"Full breakfast provided. Friendly and helpful manager, happy to accommodate special diets if you tell them in advance or at the time of booking. The dining room is very busy and they do appear to bank on not everyone coming to breakfast at the same time. It is probably a good idea to let the staff know in advance if you are in a hurry." (99086052)
Convenient location, good value for money, quiet for London. Adequate hot shower.
No shower wash/gel, which if you are travelling very light was not helpful. Only one towel.

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"We stayed in the top floor of the New Century Hotel across the road from the main Hotel (all part of the same complex)and found it was absolutely fine for our needs. Handy for exibitions at Olympia and Earls Court and to get to centre of London for sightseeing via underground. I chose it based on the previous reviews and wasnt dissapointed." (99418795)
Good clean accomodation, plenty of toast, fruit juice and tea /coffee for breakfast.Very helpfull staff.
I am piccy, but am happy to say this was a good value for money hotel. There was some road noise but par for the course in London.

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"I stayed in the New Century Inn which is 20 metres away and over the road from 65. I arrived at 2.20 and was told the room still wasn't ready. Facilities were 'compact and bijou' but everything worked and my room was made up after the 1st of my 2 night stay, something that doesn't always happen at some other more 'highly rated' hotels. I would recommend the 65 as I feel I got more than my moneys worth. It is nigh on impossible to find a clean comfortable hotel in London for the price, The 65 was ideal for my needs." (97086774)

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"We enjoyed having comfortable beds and next time would need to remember to ask for 2 pillows each. Having a quiet room away from the main Shepherds Bush road was much appreciated. It was very good value" (99847262)
We loved being given a room which didn't let in traffic noise; having tea making facilities and having cooked breakfasts. We liked having a chair each for clothes and space for a suitcase and having our own bathroom with a good shower. We'd like to come again
It was quite a steep climb up the stairs, but worth it to have a quiet room! We would hav e appreciated curtains that didn't let in so much light.

Easy access from tube station
Room a bit small - no chair for seating. Other guests included a large group of VERY noisy young students who talked loudly outside until 3 am, making sleep impossible

Good location, walking distance to the tube, great breakfast, very clean and new bathroom, best price I could find and was pleasantly surprised.
Street noise and others guests coming and going is the only (and minor) complaint.

Although the bathroom was tiny the shower was amazing, checked the pillows inside and they were very clean, even the skirting boards were clean.
The narrow staircase was a little difficult to get my bag up and down and the curtains in my room were not put up, so i did this myself.

The bathroom was hilariously small- you could quite easily use the loo, sink and shower at the same time if the mood took you, and the door had to fold in half so you could get in! the main room was fine space-wise." Warmth, the en-suite, the kettle, spacious cupboard with hangers, MTV available on television.
Door's double lock didn't work, window not very insulating, touted wi-fi a pay service and signal strength lacking.

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"The only negative experience(s) were the fact that our room key did not work when we came back to the hotel at 1am. We had to wait outside while the night porter returned to the hotel. Same thing happened after breakfast when we couldn't get back into the room. I was given the hotel master key to let myself in when my replacement key also failed to work - from a security point of view I would have severe reservations about this policy of giving master keys to guests!" (99902538)
Overall it was a clean room, with comfortable beds, however I don't think the duvets are changed after every stay as mine was quite heavily stained. Nice breakfast, loads of coffee - just what I needed! Very powerful shower - very refreshing.
Didn't mind the fact that I was in a different building, but it was on the opposite side of the road and the road was very busy.

Fantastic breakfast, better than most in expensive hotels. Great shower, good bed, warm, clean, very pleasant staff
TV aerial was not working (fixed it in the morning as we left!), other room doors slammed hard which was a bit noisy. Not enough pillows but there was a spare single bed so I pinched that one!

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"A very prompt and efficient booking service (I booked online) and all staff were helpful when we arrived. I was surprised to find that Hotel 65 comprised some six different buildings in one street hence one had to check in at one place and then take one's luggage to another building along the street. I would have liked to have known in advance that my room would be an attic room with a single overhead window that had to remain open in the hot weather - this allowed street traffic noise to invade the room. The 'continental breakfast' was basically cereal and toast plus a piece of cheese. There were no croissants, fruit or cold meat. The Dining room was rather cramped. There was no storage place for clothes and we had to leave them in the case and got crumpled. I don't stay overnight in London very often and thought the charge for this tiny room, for a mature married couple, a bit overpriced." (97267114)
Well situated (Shepherd's Bush) for our leisure activities. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and general cleanliness of stairs, room etc was clean. The double bed was comfortable.
Street traffic noise kept us awake as we were obliged to keep the window open in the hot weather. Room was rather cramped for two people and there was nowhere to store one's clothing and so we had to leave two people's clothing in the suitcase getting crumpled. There were no 'facilities' for clothing, hence my poor rating.

It was close to The Shepherds Bush Empire, the venue we were attending (10 min walk).
The bed was like concrete and the bathroom was too small to turn around in. The lock on the bathroom door didnt work, meaning every time you turned around you knocked it open and the plug in the sink didnt work meaning unable to fill a sink for washing.

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"The bedroom was of a good size and very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. However, the room was very hot and this was only in May! Opening the window for fresh air meant the room became very noisy with traffic and emergency vehicles passing. When we arrived at No.65 we were directed across the road to the New Centurion. This can feel a little isolated with no staff in the building. We did not consider this a convenient hotel for Chelsea Flower Show - the reason for our visit - although it was advertised as near. The steep narrow stairs are a bit of a challenge with no lift facilities." (99459199)
Cleanliness.
Bathroom too small. Toilet fixings loose - from floor and back wall. The number of stairs!

Hotel 65, London - Reviews & Ratings"Given the high ratings this hotel has received from other visitors, I can only assume that my home city contains some truly shocking hotels. We only stayed at a hotel while work was being done at our house elsewhere in London, so don't usually experience London hotels. This hotel was not by any means truly shocking, but for the price I found it pretty disappointing - a very basic B&B without even a decent breakfast to make up for a poky room. But it did all work properly and the location is fine." (3305418871)

"Very small room but very clean one. Very basic hotel but nice people and comfortable to have breakfast at the hotel as it is the case in this one." (97155742)
I would like to have a telephone in my room in order to receive calls and that is not the case. At night it was cold in my room, although it was in march, I asked to warm it more but I was told that there is an automatic timer ...meaning that there was nothing to do. I got a spare blanket instead. The sink in my room was blocked during all my stay. The space to hang clothes not very comfortable very narrow.
