Friendliness and courtesy of owners, deliciuous breakfasts, supplied me with special diet, helped me with awkward bag, kept a very watchful eye on who came in and out to ensure security. Attractive old building, nicely appointed, lovely reaxing atmosphere.

Courtneys Of Gynn Square, Blackpool - Reviews & Ratings"Given a warm and friendly welcome. A good standard of hotel for bed and breakfast. Breakfast was quoted as 08.30 to 10.00, but starting times were flexible during my stay to meet the needs of the guests. There are steps up to the hotel from the road and rather narrow staircases and corridors in the hotel. The top floor rooms in particular would be difficult for partially disabled. Would definitely use again when needing to stay in the Blackpool area." (97824966)

The courtesy, friendliness and warm welcome from the owners were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble.
I would have liked a bath in my en-suite. There was only a shower which I, personally, do not like.

That said it was superior to the usual Blackpool b and b and the owners/hosts couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. Clean,warm,nice bed/bedding, everything worked. Friendly owners.
Nothing to dislike really - just a couple of thoughts: The bedroom doors could do with a lick of paint. It would have been nice to have been offered a choice of white, brown or granary toast, not just the plastic sliced white on offer. Rooms a bit small.

We would not normally stay overnight but where this hotel is it is nice and quiet and away from all the busy streets. The room was lovely and warm and he food was great. It was nice and compact everything at hand. Bed was very comfortable and shower nice and hot. Overall a lovely over nice stay.
For the first time o us going away it was great nothing to complain about.

We've stayed in bigger rooms with televisions & en-suite facilities in Blackpool and paid much much less. Also the breakfast service was slow when the hotel was busy.

The single room was rather small. It was very hot but that was more due to the weather however a fan would have been nice.

This time we had a much nicer room which had more space and a lovely sea view. The only minor problem was the lock on our room door - I couldn't have locked and unlocked it. Fortunately my husband did manage to do so. There was a party of young farmers staying there at the same time, however the owner had asked them to be considerate to other guests, and they were - we didn't hear any noise at all from them." The rooms were very clean and cozy.The staff were friendly.It felt like home!
Guests were allowed to smoke in the lounge and the lounge was next to the breakfast/dining area.Smoke drifted in and this was not pleasant.

I initially booked a single room but felt it to be too small so was then allocated a double room. The room was comfortable and adequately equiped. The only downfall was being woken at 6 am from the noises in the above room - floors creaking, drawers been pulled open, water running, voices etc. These noises continued for well over an hour or more. It would have been nice to have slept longer as there was no need for me to rise until at least 7.45 am. Other than being woken so early I would have no other complaints." (2861674)

I was a lovely family run Hotel, the rooms and reception rooms were well maintained and pleasant. the host and hostess were friendly and welcoming, it was a home from home and they treated us like friends. Pity we weren't staying for longer, but will definately be going back.
