very welcoming,clean, friendly staff, good food.excellent location.
just one point, we stayed on second floor, the stairs a bit of a problem for anyone disabled, or with difficulty walking.it would be advisable to make this known to people when booking.

Hotel was very clean inside and out. Room was very clean. Very comfortable double bed. Breakfast was one of the best we've had. Staff were very helpful without being intrusive.
The room we had was a small double (it was mentioned before we chose, but didn't realise how small it would be!). If we were staying any longer than 1 night then we would probably have asked to be moved. TV reception in room was a bit poor.

Manor Heath Hotel, Scarborough - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was easy to find using satnav. There was adequate parking, also a large public car park next door. Dinner is served at 6pm and I missed that, it took 15 minutes to walk to the town centre where there was a choice of places to eat. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included traditional English and was served with a smile. Everyone was very helpful." (97848827)

Manor Heath Hotel, Scarborough - Reviews & Ratings"The information we received prior to booking our stay was excellent, we got exactly what we expected only with better views ( we requested a sea view and got one)! excellent breakfast and fabulous service to go with it!" (97912879)
The position of the hotel and the views we had from our room were beautiful (room 12). the staff and owners were extremely friendly and very effecient.
We did not dislike anything about our stay. The only thing we would comment on is the dust in our room, as my husband has quite a severe dust allergy we do tend to look for it! I have to say the pictures/mirrors and lamps were really quite dusty and had not been dusted for quite some time! Otherwise the overall cleanliness of the room was very good.

Facilities good with lounge and bar available for guest use. Small hotel but well cared for and welcoming. Staff friendly and approachable, available if needed but not intruding when not needed." Room was clean and tidy with en-suite shower room. Everything in good condition. Food was excellant, good choices, plenty of it, well served. All staff friendly and helpful.
Room was quite stuffy (hot) at times.

Manor Heath Hotel, Scarborough - Reviews & Ratings"On arrival we were greeted by the proprietor and shown to our room, which was a reasonable size, very comfortable and had plenty of cupboard/wardrobe space.Although the shower room was small it was adequate and very clean. All the meals were well cooked and presented, and the portions were generous. The choice was reasonable. The hotel is situated a short walk away from North Bay beach and also the beautiful Peasholme Park. A regular bus takes you along the seafront to the more lively South Bay, where you can wander around the harbour or visit a wide choice of amusement arcades. Visitors should definately sample Scarboroughs wonderful fish and chips. June is a good time to visit if you dont like too many people about. All in all, we had a great weekend." (99242391)
Ideal location, very clean and pleasant surroundings, run by very friendly owners and staff, made to feel very welcome.

The owners/managers were incredibly felxible and thoughtful, they offered a personal touch which I am not used to, and they were very kind. I don't know Scarborough, and only found out that I needed to be there late the day before. Nevertheless, when I have to go back, I will try to book at the Manor Heath. I slept incredibly well, and the room was comfortable. The service offered to me in relation to the timing and the menu for my breaksfast was, I thought, well beyond what any guest should expect." I was offered breakfast at a time that suited my business need, when it became clear that I needed to leave earlier than the normal time.
The smell of fish from supper (before I arrived) that I could smell in my room on arrival. It cleared, or I stopped noticing it, pretty quickly.
