Rooms beautifully decorated. Good use of space, particularly little wall-mounted TVs. Quiet. Choice of two breakfast sittings and close to local ammenities.

A friendly ethos, welcoming and clean.
No car parking but this is not the accomodations fault.

Nice view on to park.
The room and bathroom were both very cramped. This resulted in lack o f space for suit cases and room to move. Only one bedside table and the TV was high on topof the wardrobe. Limited choice for breakfast.

The hostess is friendly and the breakfast is delicious. Besides, the neibourhood is quiet and peaceful and clean.
The insulation of the wall is not quite satisfactory, for we could hear the noise next door.

It was convenient for us, warm & comfortable for an overnight stay in Easter week when accommodation is hard to find.Good breakfast up to standard.
Room was very small & bed a bit short.

Again, the service was excellent and staff very friendly indeed. The Guest House was very clean and we believe that we had value for money. It really was just the small twin room we had a problem with. Unfortunately we did not realise the size of the room when we booked it. This may be entirely our fault for not asking enough queations" (97340947)
The staff, Owner, her family and service were excellent
We thought the twin room rather too small for 2 adults and is probably more appropriate for children

It was within walking distance to the centre of Windermere and close to Bowness where there were great restaurants and a cute little cinema! The view of the lake sets a very romantic setting and makes the trip worthwhile!" (97240732)

this hotel has a very homely feel to it.The personal touch made us feel welcome and comfortable.
