great staff help; large room, disabled facilities excellent for the most part
TV too small - too far away from bed to see clearly; room cold (staff found heater) could have done with some form of stool to get in the bath, no instructions in room about TV or phone

Although we arrived at a time when snacks were not available according to the menu in the bar, we were served with a snack of our choice, beautifully served and with a smile. That is what I call service.

Good shower. Sufficient towels and pillows. Tea making equipment available. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. TV in room. Fan available to cool room.
Towels - following request to re-use towels and save the environment, hung up towels to use again but half were removed and not all were replaced. Dirty tea mug left in room. Milk for tea not replaced for next day. Mattress was uncomfortable first night, requested replacement, had it replaced successfully, second mattress excellent.

My only comment is that the bed was too soft - felt like sleeping on a bouncy castle.

Staff pleasant and keen to be helpful, room had all one needs, very clean and very comfortable bed.
Lift light not working. Receptionist advised me to take lift, so I did not notice the written notice that lift light not working. Was disconcerting to be in dark lift. Hence rating under 'working order' above. Otherwise fine. Food not very good. I entertained a friend in the bar and neither meal was good.

Receptionist was extremely polite and very helpful. The hotel had arranged for information on transport including maps, tube times, and discounted taxi firms to the Foo Fighters concert at Wembley Stadium which I considered to be going the extra mile. The room was spotless, spacious and very comfortable, and we had a great nights' sleep. The buffet breakfast was lovely (and I normally avoid these at hotels as they are usually horrible) and good value.

The accomodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be using this hotel again. Geographically,It is a good choice of hotel to stay at if you are travelling from the North of England intending to travel into London, with ample parking facilities and good rail and tube connections." I have, therefore, assessed our stay as good that unfortunately penalises the fine efforts of the hotel and the Rising Sun staff over a very busy weekend. " (97860247)
The hotel reception staff was excellent throughout, particularly, with its advice about the revised travel options to Wembley Stadium in view of the ill timed railway engineering works between Northwood and Watford. Friendly young team that was genuinely keen to enhance our stay at the hotel.
The room rate quoted by E Mail from the hotel was less than the tariff promulgated in the final read out through the online booking facility. Although this was later resolved and the lower tariff charged it was an inconvenience to me as I had to query the difference etc., etc. Additionally, the full charge for our stay was debited from my bank account a number of days before we checked in despite it stating online that a deposit would not be charged.

It took approx 30 mins. into London. The hotel had a restaurant joined which served good food.The breakfast was great value as the children ate for free and you helped yourself to as much as you liked!!" (97382649)

too warm although fan provided couldn't alter room temp.

"While not exactly a bad point but one that should be bourne in mind is that a disabled room should all of the above mentioned points the downfall id the lack of a shower albeit there is one but it is in a BATH and not all disabled people can get into and out of a BATH especially from wheelchairs" (108636839)
