Hole in bathromm floor. Stains on bedroom carpet. Very poor shower. Thermostatic control of heating not good. Reported hole in bathroom floor and inadaequate shower to reception. They were not interested in the floor but did offer us another room. The other room was in worse condition, No compensation was offered. I purchased a gin and tonic when returning to the hotel in the evening and was not even offered it complementary.

Good clean good value hotel , staff very good and helpful
too far from town centre , 5 minutes by car , 25 minutes by foot , hotel arranged taxi,s or our party though. Took the money from thecredit card at time of booking not a problem if made clear at the time.

Good, clean rooms. No noise. Free Wifi was a real bonus as 3G was not working. Excellent view in the morning for breakfast.
The building was labeled as a hotel but did not actually serve food. It was just a B&B. The breakfast staff did not manage the arrival of multiple guests to breakfast very well. One of our party had to ask three times for the cooked breakfast.

Staff dealt with an error with our booking in a quick and helpful way solving the problem. Good value for money.
An error was made with our booking - I requested a twin bedroom but was actually given a double.

My card rejected I tried to call the hotel over ten times to correct the reservation and nobody answered. As a courtesey I even sent an email to confirm we were not coming - I heard nothing back. Not an establishment that wants guests I think. I shall never book here again.

We found the hotel clean, staff friendly and breakfast good value for money.
The plumbing made a rumble when anyone turned on the showers or taps. Resident bar was closed at 11pm.

Active Hotels and the actual hotel were very helpful in changing our date when i telephoned, however i was not told that it would be a twin room when i had booked a double,
Had a twin room when requested a double for myself and husband. The hotel were not informed that we had a baby even though i had requested a travel cot when booked on the internet, they did get the travel cot promptly but we felt awkward that it was so much trouble. The room was smelly and dirty, we were told the cleaners had just finished but when we were walking towards the room a lady came out and tried to hide the air freshner, so we walked in and were choked by smell or dirt and cover up freshner. When we moved the room around to try and fit the baby cot in we found lumps of food under the beds. The room was clearly not big enough for a cot as we had to clamber over beds to move round the cot to the door or toilet.

Not expensive. The breakfast was OK.
Quite a distance from town. Bedroom dark all the time due to embankment of greenery. Had to wait 20 minutes for a breakfast table on first day.

Staff friendly and willing to help, food (breakfasts) OK.
Room was small and looked on to a vertical wall of vegetation 1m away at the back of hotel, making the room very gloomy. A twin room was booked but only a double (Scottish double ie small!) was available due to 'plumbing problems' - hotel is a fair distance from Ft William making walkiing in for dinner a long hike / or driving and forgoing a drink!

There was absolutely nothing wrong with the room but the furniture etc was slightly dated, everything was clean and the staff were very welcoming. We were given a lochside room which was lovely. The hotel although smart and modern seemed rather understaffed with one person on reception and one in the dining room in the morning.The room was cramped and the bathroom required some maintenance." Room was too small,shower run hot then cold when you were in it you had to lie on the bed to watch the tv and breakfast was dissapointing

We would also have appreciated knowing that this hotel has a sister hotel at Loch Awe and we could have had a complete week using both hotels, as we found it a little difficult to spend a week in Fort William itself." The room was very clean and the staff were polite.
The room could possibly have been a bit larger and we would have preferred a shower instead of a bath.

Innseagan House Hotel, Fort William - Reviews & Ratings"The corrridor and room were a little too hot for our liking but it was a very warm weekend, this did not spoil our stay I must add. The staff on reception were all very welcoming and friendly. On our first morning we were served very promptly at breakfast but the second morning we had to wait 40 minutes and 5 tables who arrived after ourselves were served before our table which did not impress us. Over all we had a pleasant stay and would go back and also recommend the hotel. We have a baby who was also made very welcome which isn't always the case." (3304954800)
Clean, bright spacious room. Staff on reception very nice and friendly.
There was nothing we didn't like about our stay and would definatly go back and recommend to others.
