Quiet room, friendly staff, good breakfast, and well located for the cost of the hotel.
No elevator, we were 2 ladies of a certain age, and the stairs even though we were on the lower level, were hard for us. We could not for instance carry our luggage down, even tho' we had small cases.

Rooms & Co Bed and Breakfast, Amsterdam - Reviews & Ratings"Rooms & Co has a really friendly welcoming feel. Our host was extremely helpful and serves a great relaxed breakfast. We stayed in the White room which was nicely decorated and extremely comfortable, although it was in the basement so might not suit everyone. Overall it felt like staying with a friend who has a really great house, much nicer and more personal than a big chain hotel. I would definitely recommend Rooms & Co and can't wait for my next trip to Amsterdam!" (97848795)

Very friendly staff.
Besides the bathroom witch was clean, the room was quit dirty with stained walls and windowsill. The bedcovers were very stained. There was some really strange noises sounding like pipes in the walls. And this could be at 3 am. A pity because the room we had was otherwise was very quite. And we were lucky that there was a friendly neighbour who helped us call the owner so we could check in. But I could understand that the owner had been called out on a emergency. I would recommend a note on the door saying how guests can contact the owner.

"Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam, great value and an enjoyable experience, near to trams to get to main sights but also great local area to explore with a large street market on next block. The 60 steep steps to our room nearly killed us but it was our choice and worth it for the balcony view, and after all that is the charm of these lovely buildings." (108330585)
Offered a choice of 3 rooms as were first to arrive. Room clean, comfy beds, modern "boutique" design - we chose the one with a balcony overlooking back gardens, an unexpected bonus which allowed us to sit and relax more than we might on a city break. Bathroom had modern red/black tiling and glass washbasin with good shower. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good choice of breakfast - an excellent personal service.
No tea/coffe making facilities, not sure if this is usual in Amsterdam, but we Brits do expect it! Only one bath towel each, had to buy face towels and mat for stepping out of shower. Light outside room took quite a few seconds to come on automatically and was pitch dark, no handrail to guide down these few steps to landing.
