Checking in was verry good hotel was really nice clean room plenty of towels and milk for drinks wich was important to us
really hot in the rooms and in breakfast area .the breakfast was really bad mushrooms disgusting scrambled eggs was terrible had to get our own tea and coffee service was terrible bad layout of food no choice in eggs if that was my hotel i would not have the chef ,manager and one of the waitress

A very comfortable place to stay in a good location.
Reservations for an evening meal were not handled very well. I phoned 2 days prior to my stay to book for 7.30 but when I arrived, no booking was recorded. I was advised by reception that this time was already booked by a coach party so booked again, this time for 6.45. Upon arrival at the restaurant, they did not seem to know anything about my reservation for the meal although they were very helpful and accommodating.

Initially friendly welcome .Good parking facilities.Reasonable size room.
Food- Evening meal- potatoes and carrots very hard.not cooked properly. Also very noixy with a golf meeting in progress-also long delays before we were served- Breakfast- not much variety-- .ie prunes and yoghurt not available- no choice of eggs-and also very bland--We had also booked papers and a wake up call - which we were told later had not been noted.

we were disapointed that it was two single beds put together in the room as a double as we had booked a double room expected a proper double bed apart from tht it was great

Ample free parking.
Very scruffy hotel, in need of complete refurbishment. Dirty bathroom with remnants of vomit on the bath panel. Damaged sink and toilet pan. Dirty stained bed linen. Very poor and expensive breakfast with no discount for continental choice. Very small swimming pool. Room stunk of tobacco even though a non-smoking room was requested. Overall the worst hotel I have ever stayed in for thirty years.

Excellent modern well equipped bedroom.
We booked twin beds but got a large double - not a problem, but not what we ordered! Frustrating to find we could have got room at cheaper price and with breakfast included if we had left booking till later. Only one price for breakfast - no choice of Continental or Full English

Very friendly accommodating staff, clean well equippped rooms.Beds are huge!!
Breakfast slightly expensive - which is why we didnt make use of the facilities available. Some of our party did have a meal in the restuarant and thought the food very good.

Good overall service from staff, pleasent and attentive.
There were quite a few areas of refurb / refresh required for decor, bath trim, walls etc required that made some areas look a bit shabby.

Good facilities. Peaceful surroundings. Good gym facilities. On site beauty salon excellent. Good value for the price paid.
Dirty cup in room. No direct access to pool from changing rooms. Over sensitive fire alarms.

Food VERY expesive. Breakfast is a rip of for price paid. No lift to second floor. Fan in bathroom going on/off all night....

On Check in - Our room was not ready, due to check in at 2 - this is the first hotel in the world I have stayed in that the check in was not mid day. The room was over the kitchen air conditioning (I could smell my dinnear from very early in the afternoon) and then I was refused (and was argued with) for charging service to my room because receoption forgot to punch my check in card

Unfortunately the unseasonable weather didn't co-operate and of the 3 rounds booked we were only able to play 27 holes. The golf pro very kindly gave us free tokens to use the driving range, something he was not required to do given the terms and conditions of the booking. So, many thanks for that. Nice to know someone there is able to use a bit of discretion! (given our experience over the inflexible breakfast charge referred to above) The initial impression when we arrived was that we would be staying on a building site as much building work is being carried out. It might be helpful to give an idea that improvements are currently being carried out to allay an initial negative impression." (97539757)
Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped.
The duty manager was rather inflexible, insisting on charging the full £9.95 cost of a breakfast when one of our party only had a cup of tea.

It was clean .modern. well colour co ordinated in its furniture etc and comfortable
For October the weather was mild ..but even with the radiator in the room off the large water pipe round the room to it was very hot making the room very warm indeed . so much we had to keep the windows wide open all night and sleep without the blanket .it was imposssible to cool down the room...others on the ground floor had the same problem. it was like sleeping in a heated greenhouse ..Breakfast was expensive for what it was at almost
