The staff was extraordinary and responded to any requests with the utmost efficiency. Great location in relation to the train station and very easy to find.
Though a great hotel, was a little pricey. Have had better quality for less.

Beautiful hotel Very friendly and courteous staff Great views of the city Great location for easy access to the city
Only 1 really (and not that important), no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and when I asked for it (3 times) it took an hour an a half to get it.

Lovely hotel, and staff were very polite and accomodating
Needs a refurb especially the bedrooms but it was clean. The iron did not work in our room and the breakfast was very poor.

Clean
Thought it was expensive for the standard. I have stayed in Kensington in similar standard for a cheaper price.

The conceirge, Keith, deserves a special mantion, being so friendly on arrival and very helpful during our stay about local amenities etc. I was very impressed that you provided soya milk at breakfast. As I am a vegan it was great that there was soya for my cornflakes! Well done!" (97158376)

I liked the room. The residence bar was comfortable and the staff were very helpful.
I could not turn off the heating... even though I had adjusted it on the wall...it stayed on the whole time. the room was very hot, the weather was sweltering so this was one downfall.

Free parking. Very attentive and helpful staff.
I prefer to have a separate shower rather than one over the bath. The water pressure and temperature was very good, but the shower curtain was difficult to keep in place.

Our room was nice but fairly small, the castle view was excellent but close to the railway line which was noisy when the window was open but not too bad when shut, however air conditioning would have been good. Overall however, very good." (3304640233)

The staff that I encountered were very helpful and there was no complications." (3304676773)
The hotel is very grand and top of the range, The facilities were good and the lounge area excellent.

The Vermont Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne - Reviews & Ratings"Ideal Location , Free Parking, very Courteous Staff really a hotel for well to do mature people not really for young couples and especially not a group of revellers, Water System needs upgraded in Bathrooms to match the High Priced Accomodation" (3304539217)
Hotel is in perfect location just off the river tyne and around the castle walls, within easy walking distance of all amenities, Staff are ever present and very courteous, also free valet parking and added bonus not found in many other hotels in Newcastle
The shower was very much large let down of the hotel, when you pay so much to stay(
