Decor is modern. Food was good.
It was very easy to hear guests in the next room if they spoke loudly. The night porter was not able to stop a party that was going on in the room next to ours.

Breakfast - excellent sausages
Made special request for quiet room away from traffic - the allocated room was as close to traffic as possible! Bed very poor - sunken and micro thin pillows No table in room so nowhere to sit and write. Mirror too high on wall for a lady to use for makeup Bathroom not cleaned during stay Razor point not working - reported problem - was told maintenance would deal with it - nothing done - no aplology - they don't keep an adapter - didn't offer to give me one of their disposable razors that the hotel brochure says they have.

Leaving the hotel.
24 hour bar - not true. Asked to leave the bar at 12.15am by a rude bar man and security. Rooms far too small for what you pay for them, too hot, no cold water. Breakfast - cheap bacon and sausage.

What we paid for the room was excellent value for money the hotel was lovely inside and very clean and we would have no hesitation either in recomending it to friends and family or staying there again ourselves. The staff were very friendly and helpful and this hotel should be recomended at anytime.

Georgian House Hotel, Norwich - Reviews & Ratings"Very good indeed. My daughter and I ordered Room Service as we were a bit peckish mid evening - what a delight absolutely lovely food and service. Wish we had eaten in the hotel rather than eating earlier elsewhere (Norwich shopping had made us ravenous) but we will next time hopefully, if she gets Uni place confirmed." (107448881)
Friendly, helpful staff. Immaculately clean. Lovely decor both inside and out. The dining area was particularly good, lovely colour and atmosphere. I had a really good deal so obviously I knew I was getting value for money but I would go again at usual rate.
No Air Con - but it was the hottest day of the year and a good, working fan was already provided in the room, so forgiven.

We were fortunate to book our room at a very good rate compared to the normal charges viewed online.Good size room and very clean, modern, although our room was not situated in the main part of the hotel, this was not an issue for us,especially for the rate we paid.Breakfast good standard
When viewing the Rare menu in the hotel reception, there appeared to be very limited choice for vegetarians like myself,therefore this deterred us from eating in Rare in the evening.

Hotel completely without atmosphere (despite this being Christmas), almost oppresive. Decor and ambience in public areas uncomfortable, breakfast very basic, Room (suite) dire - cold, poor decor & bed linen, aged furnishing & spoaciousness of a 'suite' lost as it was two split level rooms.

I did not realise how popular it is with non residents, my wife and I were disappointed not to try it out although the menu look appetising. Overall a cool place to stay with excellent and freindly staff plus I found a good restaurant just down the road." (97357081)

Clean, freshly decorated, everything in working order
There was only one chair and when the TV screen is quite small it can be difficult to view from the bed. There was plenty of room for another chair in an otherwise spare area of the room.

Very good for norwich city centre, shops etc. Breakfast & evening meal were good. Overall staff very friendly & helpfull.
Service on first morning at breakfast could have been better, made up for on second morning. Breakfast time of up to 9.30 could be changed to 10.00.

Lovely room clean nicely decorated comfortable bed clean towels even though we only stayed two nights.
Second day of stay which was a saturday we had to help ourselves to breakfast and the saff could not fill the food containers quick enough to serve everybody but I have to say they were most helpful and polite

Exterior of the hotel looked great. Food was very good.
Internal decor appalling - very tatty around the edges 24 hour reception - not 24 hour! Tried calling several times with no response Requested move from 1st room as unable to secure window and was also very noisy from music in dining room 2nd room was far too hot, even though I had all windows open, fan on and heating turned off in the room and corridor - central heating was on all night! Room was extremely noisy
