The room was very clean,beds very comfortable,tv good picture,It was appreciated that as my partner felt un-well I was able to take a breakfast tray to the room for hre.
I found the bar prices quite expensive.

clean friendly easy to find
slightly more expensive by tax than first informed but next time will come by car so will need to be reasured of secure parking at the hotel.Perhaps a better range in refreshments in the room ie hot chocolate for winter months ahead.

The room was pleasant, very clean and modern with good quality fittings in the bathroom. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was delicious.
A very noisy radiator kept us awake. At 2.30am we could stand it no longer and the night poret moved us to another room. The radiator there was still noisy, but not quite so bad as the first one. The porter had heard the noise, which was like a high pitched whine and not ignorable, and said that the whole plumbing system needed renovating as it was old. Our

This hotel was perfect - basic, yes but incredible value for money with comfortable, well-equipped rooms and the staff were (with the eception of 1) absolutely superb!" (107704119)
Receptionist on check-in - very knowledgable and friendly. General policies - not putting solo female travellers on the ground floor, etc. I am still amazed by how many hotels not only don't do this but don't understand why they should.
Receptionist on check-out - was too deep in conversation with other staff members to acknowledge me.

The hotel was clean and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. In the morning staff were sympathetic to our complaints.
In the night the noise in the hotel was dreadful - however I accept the receptionists contention that we could have complained. At about 6am an idiot set off the fire alarm and my daughter and I evacuated to the car park in our nightware. There was very little direction from staff and no offer of warm drinks etc as we had waited out in the cold while the fire brigade checked out the building. The speed people got out was too slow had there been a real fire.

Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was good value for money at
Bed broke in the first room and we had to change rooms. Only 1 bath and 1 hand towel in bathroom. Extractor in bathroom did not work. Trying to contact the hotel by phone was a nightmare, no one answering the phone for hours

Quad rooms at Gatwick central just looked like they were trying to squeeze more people into the hotel (were told at Leicester that quad rooms were 2 double beds). Didn't appreciate that wifi access wasn't free. Can understand need for payment if a computer owned by the hotel needed to be used. All other hotels I've stayed in (as well as many restaurants) have offered free wifi access to clients with their own computers/pdas." (97496122)
Clean rooms, high twin beds. Tea making facilites and biscuits offered.
I didn't like the quad rooms as much in the Gatwick central which were obviously set up for 1 king bed. Bathtubs were fairly high - I'm young and fit and almost fell getting out of the shower in the morning!

Although room had been booked for 3, only two beds were made up on arrival but when this was pointed out the situation was rectified. The only problem we had was the lack of anything to eat later in the evening. The bar said they stopped food at 10pm - we did not get back from a performance until 10.15pm so had no alternative but to go to nearest tesco express and buy sandwiches for dinner. Other than that we thought the hotel was good value for money and a pleasant place to stay" (97248540)

The rooms were clean, bathroom a decent size but not enough towels for double occupancy. They were made available later that evening though. The buffet breakfast was a better than expected experience, food was good and replaced efficiently. The staff were also attentive and very helpful. The hotel itself is one of the best Premier Inns I have stayed at." (97609681)

clean & convenient location
linked room with paper thin door which meant I was disturbed in the very early hours by the unsuspecting neighbours bodily functions being heard in minute detail

Premier Inn Leicester Braunstone South, Leicester - Reviews & Ratings"I did not know that there was a restaurant on site and this proved to be very convenient for us as we did not know the area and so could eat there and not worry about looking around. The staff at this hotel were very welcoming and very helpful both at reception and in the restaurant. Food was of a good standard too although as always pricy for a family but we are used to that. we found the offer of free breakfast for under 16 yr olds very helpful to our budget.Our daughter is at Leicester Uni so we will visit this hotel again."
