Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"Would use again at a cheaper price - say " (99387974)
Large room, good bathroom, nice breakfast
Power kept tripping out, obvious fault not investigated just reset each time. No top sheet on one of the two beds, just a duvet which was too hot. Quite expensive

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"we were warmly welcomed to a rather run-down converted private house, badly in need of repair that is not as it is described in your write-up. This is not a hotel but a B&B. The plumbing was loud and rather smelly and £90 was far too much for accomodation such as this. When we got there we discovered that it would have been about £30 cheaper had we not booked online. The saving graces were extremely friendly staff and a quiet room." The atmosphere was very friendly. Room and the breakfast was OK. The location of hotel is very good.
The shower wasn't very good but I have also seen worse, so it is only minor detail.

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"Good value for money in a quiet location close to town centre. Good breakfast and very friendly and helpful owners. Room pleasant, but decor may be a little old fashioned for those who prefer a more modern hotel. Everything in room clean and in good working order and good size room with plenty of storage, powerpoints, mirrors." (99403479)
Quiet location, friendly staff, good room size.
Shower not very powerful and difficult to control temperature.

The hotel was convenient to the centre and for local facilities
Was in a room with plumbing running through it that was excessively noisy. The walls were extremely thin, and the room next to me, although not boistrous were having a conversation into the night that kept me awake. I had to wait outside before the door was opened even though I arrived late afternoon / early evening - this is not a hotel this is a small B&B

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"Peterborough is not well endowed with good accommodation. The Aaron Park is handy for the city centre and the railway station. The premises are cleanand tidy and the staff friendly, but is expensive compared to similar accommodation elsewhere in Britain. When I arrived there had been a mistake with the online booking, but the hotel were helpful and found me a different room with minimal fuss. The room was ensuite with a shower/toilet, TV, tea/coffee making etc. Everything was quite basic, but it all worked. The bed was fine and the room quiet, so I got a good night's sleep. I did not enjoy the cooked breakfast, which seems to use the cheapest possible ingredients. I haven't had a sausage that bad since school, and the baked beans were very sweet. A minor niggle was that the TV in the bedroom was very old and most of the channels needed retuning. A phone in the room would have been nice too. The Aaron Park is not a luxury hotel, but it isn't a bad place to stay, particularly if you don't mind getting breakfast in town. However, like many other Peterborough hotels, it is relatively expensive for what you get." (99610253)
The hosts were pleasant, the room was clean, quiet and neat.
The cooked breakfast was dreadful.

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"Having stayed previously at this hotel I was fully aware of what to expect. It is a nice, family run guest house, providing a great breakfast and a warm welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to find reasonably priced accommodation should they need a bed for the night, somewhere to have a shower and a fantastic breakfast. There is no bar or evening service but as it is situated so closely to the town centre this is not an issue." (99088003)
Clean, friendly and reasonably priced. Close to the town centre.
the decor is a little dated.

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"although centrally located we could find no where decent for an evening meal. We would have apreciated some information in the room If I'd known about the plumbing I would have taken earplugs!Breakfast starts earlier than the 7.15 we were given But then we had probably all been awake since the early hours !" (3305493629)
The room was comfortable and clean
The plumbing was moisy to a totally unacceptable level. The electric 'mincer' on the w.c.kept grinding for an eternity after flushing - which someone did at 5.am bringing the night to a premature end

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"I booked a single room. The room provided (including the en-suite bathroom)was very clean and had plenty of space for me, and the bed was very comfortable. The check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and I felt welcome throughout my two-day stay. The breakfast was of very good quality and the toast was perfect. I regard this hotel as providing very good value for money, and I am certainly likely to book again at some time in the future." (3304471419)
It was exactly the kind of accommodation I wanted - perfectly adequate for my needs, and the breakfast was very good.

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"This is a bed and breakfast guest house rather than a full blown hotel. It functions very well as a bed and breakfast but is not to a good business standard. The plumbing is very noisey and intrusive." (3304144535)
The accomodation was clean and had private facilities - it was close to town
The hotel was lacking in facilities- no public rooms - no bar - only a breakfast room - no dining room

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"It has a full no smoking policy and no evening meals are served, however I got the impression from the owners that if I had asked for a sandwich they would have accomodated me. The room itself offered me just about everything I would need (with the exception of an iron and internet connection) and was good value for money. The town centre was only a very short walk away, so close to many bars and restaurants. The breakfast was cooked to order and in all honesty the personal service I received was excellent. Would I stay here again - YES" (3304031201)
Friendly people, nice atmosphere, good breakfast (home cooking fresh to order)

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"Very clean tidy hotel in old building full of character. No evening meals or bar but very close to city centre for pubs restaurants shops etc.Parking a bit difficult--only a few (tight) spaces. Very nice English breakfast. Our room was very quiet. Liked the bed-good mattress and a clean crisp fresh smelling duvet. Always better than blankets. Radiator was either off or dangerously hot-needs control valves or thermostat. Room rate about what we have come to expect in the UK --in other words compared with the rest of Europe very expensive for the range and level of facilities. We have, however, paid more than these rates for typical dirty unmaintained embarrassing dumps in the UK so this hotel was a real treat." (2767130)
Very near city centre. Very clean.Friendly pleasant staff (owner)

My room was spacious and comfortable. I liked the location and the price was reasonable.
It would be nice and less of a bother to other guests if a telephone could be placed in each room instead of just 1 in the main lobby.

Aaron Park Hotel, Peterborough - Reviews & Ratings"This hotel is a family run business, the hotel being part of the house on 3 levels. The hotel acommodation is seperated from the owners accomodation area and the main entrance is under security coded door lock which allows you to come and go as you please. The hotel does not provide food or a bar although a very good breakfast is catered for in a well presented dining area. The rooms are of a good size, very nicely decorated and very clean." (2325019)
The room was of a good size - well layed out and very nicely decorated and clean. The dining room was also very nicely presented with adequate room between tables. Food and service was very good.
The sink was cracked (but not leaking). One window blind was torn at the cord and was difficult to operate.
