An ideal stop over hotel - excellent value for money. Off the main road so no sleep disturbance because of traffic noise.
A room with two double beds but one bed was a put-u-up bed and the steel bar could be felt across the middle, not a very good night's sleep for our little one - who ended up in bed with us!!!

Great value for money
The en-suite floor got drenched everytime we showered eventhough the curtain was inside the base. Curtains either need to be longer so the water weights it down or doors should be put up.

Very clean, well equipped and good value for money.
No air conditioning - rooms can be rather warm. Breakfast is basic.

Some confusion over which beds were made up but the staff rectified this with no problem.Fair to say that we did request on arrival that one of the family rooms be changed to a smoker. The staff were attentive and efficient and the breakfast was enjoyable" (97499120)
Bedroom & bathroom facilities were comfortable but more importantly very clean.I personally know the minute I walk in to the room whether I will be comfortable in its cleanliness and it met with my expectations.
Somewhat surprised that the disabled room was at the end of a corridor although do appreciate that it was close to a fire exit.A member of staff assisted me with luggage leaving me free to assist my husband that was nice.

excellent value and a very easy way of getting accomodation for a family of five. Breakfast (continental) was very good.
children range from 15 to 9 (3) so could not all fit on the sofa bed.The provision of an additional 'Z' bed would be ideal as there is enough room.(just!) Air con might be good in summer!!

Location of hotel is good, with a pub/restaurant nearby to have lunch or dinner.
Heating on full in the hotel although it was the end of May, which made it uncomfortable to sleep at night. Also, hotel was being upgraded in parts which made it look a bit messy. Open plan dining area near to Reception,so not too private when having breakfast.

Fairly good staff attitude
The hotel is located away from anything remotely interesting. Taxi rides an absolute must if you want to avoid complete boredom. Also, TV screen was tiny.

Use of hotel crockery for dinner personailsed the stay and was really useful. Hotel was clean and quiet and staff were genuinely helpful and interested in our experience. Booked a no frills room, and got a no frills room. Good parking and friendly staff, everything clean.
My fault for being a typical member of the british public and accidentally booking the wrong type of room, and then just sitting back and not asking if i could change... ah well, lesson learned on my part. Booked a twin, got a twin, wanted a double... Also air conditioning would be nice, or the ability to open the windows a bit more.

The location
Cleanliness, coffee cups in room had not been washed properly. Breakfast was the worst I have experienced in a long time. Suggest smoking is banned throughout the hotel. Everywhere smelt of tobacco. Checkout was very slow.
