"Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Galeon, excpet for the barking dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is probably one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed at during many holidays in Spain." (107546583)
I stayed in the Pavillon (annexe)which was beautifully clean and well furnished, air con worked very well everywhere and especially in the bedroom which was quiet, and greatly needed. The room was very clean and decorated well. The shower was great and worked well. Great breakfast every day, standard of food very good.
Instructions to get to the Pavillon (annexe) were very misleading and confusing. Whilst the room was beautifully clean, the bathroom needs some attention..it was difficult to sit "properly" on the toilet as it is too close to the shower screen. The hand towel ring fell off the wall each time the towel was reached for. bathroom towels varied in quality, some were very worn and old. Whilst the room was good quality, the atmosphere and ambiance was spoilt by the "barking dog" on the balcony opposite my room. This is typical however of Spanish poeple just allowing there dogs to bark, day and night, but not acceptable so close to guest rooms. The hotel needs to address this problem which other guests complained about also.
