Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"Certainly a good option for accomodation adjacent to airport and Southampton. Excellent evening meal and full English breakfast in well served restaurant." (107960910)
Ideal overnight stay with good restaurant and bar facilities away from "Traffic Noise".
Being picky - The basin in our room was slow to drain and perhaps the bed and lounge bar furniture was looking a "little tired".

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"Shame the woodland was out of bounds due to fallen trees, but I would stay again." (108392292)
Evening meal was excelent
While enjoying the evening sun on the terrace the noise from the cars on the motorway was clearly audible and spoiled a pleasant evening. The cars could not be seen so a plus, and it was rush hour, no doubt making the nose worse.

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"Totally ruined by other guests on a group booking." (107532858)
Nice setting and helpful staff
Wedding party staying at hotel got drunk in bar, tried to get into my room at 2a.m. banging on guest doors so no sleep! The hotel gave a 25% discount on paying but on reflection that was not enough. Why can't they sort the yobish guests out?!

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"Review the menu and offer good food reasonably priced." (107380467)
Good staff. good location, good value.
The restaurant, too expensive, extremely small portion of fish, lamb was tasteless, expensive desert, did not live up to my expectations. Can recommend the hotel, but eat out or get a take away.

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"Enjoyed our stay would go back to this hotel, central for lots of places of interest." (107843876)
Food was excellent and staff very polite, Spa treatments where really excellent and staff friendly.
Should have been a superking bed in the room as the room was large enough to take one.

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"A pleasant overnight stay. Wish I'd had time to enjoy the hotel more. " (107543813)
Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Good, strong shower. Building full of character in delightful grounds.
Shower curtain clingy (in spite of the magnets sewn into the corners)! Expensive taxi into town (ever thought of a subsidised shuttle?).

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"It would have been helpful had we of had more information on local places to eat, we felt the evening meal menu was rather expensive. The leasure centre was very well equiped,we enjoyed being able to swim, however I would strongly recommend that people wear goggles as the water caused me to a lot of trouble with my eyes." (97481644)
We thought the bar/lounge was in a lovely setting, the dinning room was extremely well managed by the manager and her staff, Reception staff were very helpful and polite.
the down fall was having to climb several flights of stairs to get to our room, next time would ask for a lower floor if poss.

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"The approach via rhodadenron lined avenues was picturesque and relaxing. The staff were efficient and helpful yet not intrusive. The standard of accommodation (even in a single room) was excellent - so often you are put into a cupboard or made to feel a nuisance occupying a double room on single occupancy but I had a large room with a single bed in it with plenty of desk and wardrobe space, together with chair, coffee table and well stocked hospitality tray. Having an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe was an excellent touch. The restaurant meal, whilst expensive, was of a very high quality. I could not comment on the breakfast as I was fasting prior to an unpleasant hospital procedure but I am assured by other guests that it would have been excellent! The fitness studio and swimming pool looked as if they were good too but, once again, my hospital procedure precluded me from taking advantage of these facilities." (97840906)
Chilworth Manor is a stylish hotel, and appearances outside were matched by those inside.
Nothing, I will definitely be booking to stay there again.

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"There was a wedding party and couple of Birthday parties over the weekend, and they used the main lounge as the meeting place and with 60/70 people in this area it was loud, not good for hotel guests. Enjoyed The Club. (swimming pool)" (97593528)
The double bed was on the small size.

room on the small side but ok, mattress very soft not good for back sufferers. The table cloth on our table was dirty with jam stain on it.It was a shame that the pool was not attached to the hotel but the pool and everything else in it was brillliant.

The building was old and imposing, but the facilities modern and very clean. Fresh flannel every day. Tea and coffee replenished every day. Staff always there when you wanted someone - but not 'in your face' very relaxed feeling. Things done quickly.
Can't really think of anything

The rooms were nice with lovely views
The bathroom was unheated and the bar area was directly opposite the entrance and was rather draughty when eating meals. The first night I ate in the restaurant at a reasonable time but on the 2nd night I could not get booked until 8pm too late for me to eat so I ate in the bar, on asking what a seafood mezzaluna was noone seemed to know!

Chilworth Manor Hotel, Nursling - Reviews & Ratings"Overall, a pleasant but expensive stay - the bar would not accept cash after a certain time so that we had to cover the costs of visitors who were willing to pay their own rounds. The final bill for one night, therefore, was much more than we had planned. I would nonetheless recommend the hotel but warn friends to take account of likely further costs. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout." (97133153)
A quiet, relaxed experience, both inside and outside the hotel
Room a bit small for the price which was comparatively high. It was not helped by the mirror light in the bathroom not working (discovered too late for us to contact Reception) nor the radio channels on the TV system working

As we didn't get a wake up call as requested on check in and therefore missed breakfast we had some money knocked off bill instead, no argument.
