Pleasant area, nice garden, quiet room
Ensuite shower/toilet was TINY! It would have been more convenient to be able to have an early breakfast ( earliest was 7:30 which is late if you have to travel)

the staff were very friendly helpful and accomodating
the room was a little bizarre in terms of being at the top of the house and a strange shape and a kind of portocabin for the shower/toilet

The staff is polite and kind,try to do their best but need some more information about the turistic place how to get there. The only problem was just the size of the room, especially the bathroom. People hardly can go in the bathroom to take a shower. It is just too small for anything." (2671092)
The room was clean,and tidy, but unbelievable small size. Specially the bathroom. The furnitures and the door was in very poor quality. The staff is kind, but sometimes they could not give the right information about how to get to some place of interest. The breakfast is fine.
The furniture need some refurbishment.

The staff was very nice and gave us a warm welcome. The veggie breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and bright, and the small desk highly appreciated. We had a lovely stay at the Dawson House!

Clean
Walls too thin; could hear next door neighbor's snoring :( Mattress too old; could feel springs :( TV only has 6 channels When I asked for the internet access key I was told they charge 2.5 for the entire stay. I then said the booking stated internet access was free of charge and so they said OK and didn't charge me.

The accommodation is a long walk from the nearest tube, but is in a pleasant area. The accomodation was close to rail and bus links and in a quiet area. Breakfast service was very good.
The shower facility in the room was poor, with very low pressure and the hot water taking an age to come through.

Dawson House Hotel - Guest House, Camden, London - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel suffers from the problems converting large rooms to hotel bedrooms - there is probably no solution to this. The stone windowsill in our room had a worryingly large crack which will lead to water ingress into the brickwork & frost damage. Domestically the hotel is good value for money & very handy for Wembley & easy walking distance from the Underground. The garden was nicely done & tidy." (3304319117)
The staff were friendly & helpful. The bed-linen was cotton & comfortable & the room naturally-ventilated. Breakfast was freshly cooked & served promptly. Toast was generous. Waitress very sweet.
The method of conversion made a long narrow room which was dark even in daylight. The quality of materials used (fibreglass) for the shower cubicle was poor. The furniture did not match though it was presentable. There were water-stains on the divan-part of the bed - this would be wear & tear & would not reflect on the cleaning regime. The remote-control for the TV was cracked & had poor battery condition - it did work though. Some biscuits in the room would have been nice also PROPER fresh coffee rather than the industrial sachet instant stuff - the food was all fresh so why not the coffee?

The owners are very conscientious people and do everything to make your stay comfortable. It is the cleanest B&B I have ever stayed in in the London area. They are close to the underground and the buses for easy traveling into London. They were very flexible with the menu offerings and the breakfasts were very well prepared. There is no communal lounge area, however, for visiting with other guests except at breakfast." (1907552)
This was the cleanest and neatest B&B around London I have ever stayed in.
The bed was too hard and uncomfortable.

We have stayed in hotels in London booked through travel agents and were nowhere near as satisfied with the accommodation found as we were with the Dawson House. I feel fortunate because I knew a little bit about London and knew that I wanted to stay in this neighbourhood. People unfamiliar with London might not realize how accessible it is. We enjoyed the delightful hospitality of the manager...his friendly helpful nature and his personal attention to guests. We were surprised to hear that he wasn't the manager, but a family member, filling in for them. In addition, we were pleased with the location in respect to Hampstead and the tube.
We found using the bathroom a little awkward because of the size, but we realize that space in London hotel rooms is generally small.

Friendly & conscientious staff. Pleasant clean environment. Good quality food -made to feel that they had pride in their service and they didnt use cheap ingredients in order to maximise profits.

It was near to my daughters home and within easy reach of London by bus, tube or Thameslink without the city prices.
As usual single rooms are quite small. In this case the sleeping facilities were excellent but some acrobatics were required when using the toilet /shower/washbasin cupboard.
