group of 10 stayed - welcome excellent - helpfulness excelllent - breakfast excellent - location very central - very short walk from where the airport bus drops you - staff very friendly - beds brilliantly clean and extremely comfortable! all 10 of us slept really well - felt safe inside the room have stayed in more expensive hotels and had a really bad experience - but NOT here - all 10 of us loved it - would recommend it for a short stay - and would like to thank the staff very very much. brilliant value for money - thank you so much xx
cannot really say any bad points - one of the group could shower but couldnt get hot water out of taps but could boil water from kettle for shave - and another had problems with the shower head but could still shower - but there was nothing major and didnt in anyway spoil our stay - staff very very quick to act on this when pointed out to them so cant really point out any bad points as we loved it. everything you need and more is there.

Abbott Lodge Guesthouse, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"Good value for money." (107634214)
The staff in the dining room were very friendly and the food was lovely.
TV didn't work and the room was very noisy with thin windows and a road outside.

Abbott Lodge Guesthouse, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"New years eve so clearly very inflated prices. For 100euros should still have been better value for money" (107653974)
Unwillingness to let us view room before checking in. Untidy tray with only one available cup. Variable water supply made showering impossible. Tiny room sectioned off in a corner of hotel with illfitting door.

Abbott Lodge Guesthouse, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"We would have no hesitation in staying here again should we choose to visit Dublin in the future. The breakfasts were excellent and our stay was great. We would definately recommend it to others. " (108098088)
Abbotts Lodge is a pleasant bed & breakfast and very clean. It is very well located for the main areas of the city and the reception staff were very friendly, helpful and informative. Great for the bus route to the airport too!

Abbott Lodge Guesthouse, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"For a two night stay, the lodge was ok. Any longer would not be good. Close to the centre which was excellent. There was nowhere to store your bags. I wish I had known there were so many flights of stairs to climb." (97605620)
The bed was comfortable and the shower was warm. The breakfast was lovely and the lady who served was a tonic. Very close to the centre, which was great.
I disliked the fact we had to climb so many flights of stairs to get to our room as we were on the top floor. The gentleman on reception hardly spoke any English and did not appear to know what he was doing. The bathroom was not entirely clean and there was hair over the floor. Nowhere to store your bags after checking out, left in the sitting area.

Close to the city center
Stairs. Lots of them. Lack of vending machine for water and sloppy attendant at night.

Abbott Lodge Guesthouse, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"Super Urlaub, gutes Hotel, tolle Stadt, super Pubs mit Livemusik und überall nette Leute!" (108506001)

Central location, very cheap (you get what you pay for).
Very noisy as next to a main road and no double glazing. Probably would not stay there again.
