Croke Park Hotel, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"Good value for money." (107782286)
I stay at this hotel regularly and have always found the staff to be extremely helpful, the food good and the bedrooms clean and comfortable. As a regular visitor I was given an upgrade on this visit but even the basic rooms are better than most of the basic hotels I stay in when in London.
I always make sure I specifiy non-smoking room as I had been allocated one on my first trip but other than that there is nothing to say here.

Croke Park Hotel, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"Excellent Hotel " (107427592)
In my opinion, breakfast should be included in the price of 99 euro per night. There is also a problem in booking breakfast online. A room with breakfast costs 138 euro online, while booking on arrival, it is 20 Euro (also too expensive). I am however of the opinion that this is no accident!

Croke Park Hotel, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"I stayed in this hotel on the day of an International Soccer match.Arrived at the hotel at 12.00 Midday for check in,waited until 14.45 and could still not be checked in as rooms were not ready. As our group had travelled for over 4 hours from the west of Ireland,we needed to freshen up,but were denied this opportunity.I understand the pressure the staff were under, but they should surely have been better prepared, for the day, with so many bookings, extra staff should have been employed to clean the rooms." Room Spacious, bright, and clean.Comfortable bed and excellent shower

Croke Park Hotel, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"We chose this hotel as it is opposite Croke Park and we wanted to soak up the atmosphere of the rugby weekend. We could not get tickets for the game but decided to watch from a nearby pub because the hotel stripped the bar of all tables and chairs and we felt it was too long a time to have to stand up and watch all three games of rugby. The room service menu was not available on the day of the game and the alternative was to pay 50 Euro for a buffet. The standard of the hotel is excellent and I would certainly recommend it for a weekend away as it is just a 15 minute walk to O' Connell St." (3304327423)
Excellent facilities. Very clean.Ideal location
Bar closed very early (1.30am) given that it was a rugby weekend.

Croke Park Hotel, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel foyer/reception is very bland in appearance, although clean and tidy. There is no atmosphere in the hotel foyer/lobby, and Sideline Bar. Staff are pleasant and courteous, but the overall ambience is lacking something." (99464480)
It was clean, airy, bright, comfortable.

Croke Park Hotel, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"The food in the hotel is of a very high standard. The accomodation is adequate. The hotel is very well situated for use of croke Park but is quite a walk into the city centre and the taxi service is not very good in the area." (3305491172)
The staff were professional and friendly.
We asked for a non smoking room which still smelled of smoke, but we got moved to a clean room with no fuss.

Rooms are very clean and pleasant.
But they are also quite small especially executive rooms compare to standard rooms.

Croke Park Hotel, Dublin - Reviews & Ratings"This is a hotel when it says 4 star, is actually 4 star plus. Unlike many hotels, the photograph on the website of the room did not actually do it justice - the hotel room was huge and the bathroom was the same kind of proportion. The room was immaculate and the bed massive. I could list so many things the were right about this hotel, from the lovely towels to the attentive and helpful staff, but there isn't enough room. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who when they book a 4 star hotel expects a 4star hotel. Will definitely look to book here first for another stay in Dublin." (3304196467)
The room was fanstastic. The bathroom was immaculate and the toilettries were great (although conditioner would have been a bonus!. The bed was huge and basically everything was top quality.
The internet advertised a CD player in our room which we didn't have, but this was a really minor point, everything else was excellent.

Hotel was really clean and well decorated. The staff were really helpful and friendly. It will be my first choice hotel when returning to Dublin
There wasn't a cd player in our room as had been stated prior to booking and the mirror was in a really awkward place for drying your hair - there was no plug anywhere near it.The only other thing I could say is that the bar closed at 1.30am - not great if you've been out and want a night cap before bed!

The hotel was ideal location to Croke Park and the cleaniness of the hotel was top class
The buffet breakfast arrangement in the morning was very slow. As there was a large crowd staying we waited at least 45mins before we were seated for breakfast. By that time alot of the food was not very hot.

how modern, bright and spacious the rooms felt and the excellent facilities wiithin the room itself..widescreen tv etc...
the area of cleanliness could be watched simply because we had dirty tea cups in our room on arrival.

An excellent experience all-round. The staff were very helpful and the location of the hotel. within walking distance of the city centre (without being too close!) and 5 minutes drive from the ferry terminal made this an ideal choice for us.
