Grand Hôtel De La Muse Et Du Rozier, Peyreleau - Reviews & Ratings"This was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It is beautiful. The room was large and airy with a fantastic view of the gorge. The gorge itself is crystal clear and you have easy access to it from the hotel. The food here is also very good, a real experience. We went to the hotel for my boyfriends birthday and he said it was the best birthday ever! - I would recommend this hotel to anyone." (107359656)

Picturesque setting. Stylish but informal hotel. Excellent view from room. A good base from which to explore the Gorges de Tarn.
Food a bit pricey as were the drinks. Would have been nice to have been offered an upgrade as the hotel was far from full.

We can really recommend this hotel, we would have liked to have stayed a lot longer as there is so much to do there. We cannot wait to go back.

Smoky reception area and bar. It was not possible to walk from room to restaurant without walking through the smoky bar and reception.

It was a perfect end to our visit to the Millau Viaduct, and the relaxed atmosphere allowed us to feel like we were truly on holiday. Obviously the clear blue skies helped the enjoyment, but I am sure this hotel would be especially cosy in the winter, curled up in front of the wood fire, sipping espressos whilst reading a book in the conservatory. This very chic hotel with a warm and friendly atmospehere sits perfectly in the Gorge du Tarn. The staff were excellent, and the food was superb. A real gem of a hotel!
We were lucky enough to have a room in the attic, which meant having to lug the suitcases up the final spiral staircase, but the view from the top was definitely worth it!

The staff were friendly yet unobtrusive but instantly ready to provide service. The breakfasts were good. We did not try the dinners as we could not satisfy all the tastes of our party of four on the existing menu which did not change on the two days of our stay. Overall, all four of us had a lovely experience and we would be delighted to return one day." (3305281992)

Hotel lovely and the room had a lovely view of the river tarn. Staff helpful.
Nothing really - but perhaps just one thing as it was hot when we were there fans in the rooms would be a good alternative to full air conditioning.

Fabulous views from every room; excellent quality of all furnishings and furniture in the bedroom. Imaginative food
We had a vegetarian in our party and the restaurant made hard work of catering for her. service in the restaurant was a bit mixed - which we put down to being a party of 8 people.

There is a large terrace balcony and access to the riverbank. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well-appointed although there is no fridge. The dining room is on a standard with the best restaurants in the region but you need to go down the road if you want the cheap option. There is also a lounge and bar area. Hotel well situated with lots to see in the area. Restaurant excellent, very good food at reasonable prices. Staff attentive and helpful. I am recommendng this hotel to my friends.
Heating fairly basic, fortunately the weather was fine and this did not inconvenience us.

We were greeted on our arrival and the lady was very helpful. As the hotel is in such a beautiful surrounding we shoul have arrived in daylight to have the best views. I suggest that this suggestion should be made for other travellers. We would love to go back for a longer stay." (2815384)

Possible a group rate for meals. We found it expensive because we had 4 children.

E.g the excellent limestone rock formations at the Montpellier le Vieux site & the Vulture protection site nearby. Generally though, a very nice hotel. Perhaps also a special mention for the restaurant staff (and Chef)who were very helpful without being over-attentive. The food was some of the best I've ever tasted. Could perhaps do with clearer directions to the hotel - we got lost and ended up in Millau" (2111648)

Le cadre, l'accueil et la gentillesse du personnel La cuisine: Excellente avec des associations de saveurs intéressantes et jamais excessives un repas particulièrement bon, servi avec simplicité et efficacité. Un bon souvenir et une bonne adresse qui doit être encore plus agréable avec le beau temps !
La télé avec écran plat bel appareil ! mais la réception des chaînes est très moyenne et assez limitée. Un petit coup de peinture sur la porte de la salle de bain (***)!

Jetzt leider nur auf der Durchreise. Das Personal machte einen sehr mechanischen Eindruck und war nicht interessiert in ihre Kunden. Mann machte seine Arbeit (langsam) aber ohne Spass anscheinend. In der Kueche jedoch leistete mann besonders gut, deshalb Totalnote: 7,5 aus 10." (3304493025)

Breathtaking location,comfort, quality of hotel and staff.Most definitely ten out of ten.
If I had to grumble I would say the food and wine were a tad on the expensive side but more than made up for by the good points above
