City Inn Glasgow, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"Really nice and loved the free parking, such a bonus for a city!" (108114953)
Good location for my business meeting. Really pretty on the bridge, especially at night time. Free parking.
Carpet in the room had some stains on it.

City Inn Glasgow, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"Very pleasant. We would definitely recommend the hotel to our friends." (107964252)
Very nice hotel. The Apple/Email/TV center was most attractive.
The downstairs bar is missing something in atmosphere even though there are a few couches overlooking the river. We walked to George Square and found the first third of the walk needs attention in crossing the streets from the walkers point of view. Hopefully development will return.. Our main complaint was that when we decided to stay an extra night we were charged a much higher rate even though it was possible for us to go upstairs and use the search capability on the computer to get the internet rate. Also Martini could have been a bit better.

City Inn Glasgow, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"overpriced " (107964325)
Staff were helpful and polite.
Overpriced not value for money. I overheard another customer had only paid £69 and we were charged £99 so I'm not very happy to hear that to be honest!

City Inn Glasgow, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"Will definitely be using again. Perfect location for SECC and city centre easily accesible by subway close by. " (107877771)
Excellent hotel. Very clean, luxurious room. Staff were very friendly. Great location for SECC. Bed was very comfy, shower fantastic -very powerful and was able to change the settings easily. Anti-steam mirror was an added bonus. Room service arrived very quickly.
No details of whether the internet was free to use in the room, as well as the DVD library. Was not offered a taxi on check out. Had to search about a bit to find mini bar prices, which were rather expensive - £1.50 for a small bottle of Diet Coke......

Room to small, bedside light bulb fused phoned reception who sent up an unexperienced person who proceeded to twist and break the wire even after I had warned him.Told that I would not have to book restraurant when we arrived told that it was fully booked.Bar was small and we had to wait for a seat.I expected more from a 4 star? hotel.

The hotel was lovely, the standards of the the room, cleanliness, staff and in-house facilitie's were all very good. We would definitely come here again.
The hotel was a bit over priced and it seems to charge for everything, even the things most hotels include for free...............morning paper, breakfast etc

City Inn Glasgow, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"very good." (107887561)
clean, working order of facilities
the view to the back is in stark contrast to the one at the front (river). The main negative is the lack of bath tub. I am sure this is listed in the booking process but is unusual and not explicit.

City Inn Glasgow, Glasgow - Reviews & Ratings"Enjoyed our stay very much " (107900789)
Well situated for our needs as we did not want to be in the centre of the city.was lovely to be able to walk along the River Clyde
Think the breakfasts were a little on the expensive side but obviously suited to the business community rather than the normal public.

The hotel was very busy (cafe/bar area particularly) however the staff worked well to serve drinks and food. Very friendly and efficient.
