The Beaufort Hotel, Chepstow, Monmouthshire - Reviews & Ratings"It was so poor- compared to the bed and breakfasts we have stayed in for the same place- that we actually cut short our stay. " (108053158)
Staff were flexible and offered us a nicer room ('nicer').
The hotel was actually a pub- not explicit in the description. Also, the rooms were slightly rundown and the whole place just oozed with slightly out of date and crusty furnishings.

The Beaufort Hotel, Chepstow, Monmouthshire - Reviews & Ratings"Reasonable value for money." (107599302)
Quick service from staff.
TV in bar meant no-where for a quiet drink.

Friendly, accomodating staff. Ideal situation. Parking. Excellent food.
I am afraid the shower was a non event and I gave up with it and had a bath instead.

The Beaufort Hotel, Chepstow, Monmouthshire - Reviews & Ratings"Our general stay was great, the staff were lovely and were very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the bar staying open for us was most appreciated! The bed was uncomfortable, we felt like the springs were going to come through the matress and the shower was poor but apart from that, we had a very enjoyable stay." (99658981)
We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel, the staff were fabulous and so was the location.
The bed was most uncomfortable and the shower was poor. There was no water pressure which made it very hard to have a shower in the morning!

"pokey hotel, poor value for money, noisy road at rear of hotel, window open otherwise too stuffy" (107282615)
car park, let off paying for room after complaining to owner, nice breakfast, paper on reception as ordered
low standard room, small noisy bed with plastic undersheet, creaky floorboards, small room, reading light not working, poor tv reception, coincided with a noisy engagement party in function room that went on well past promised end time of midnight, needed a phone call to stop music at 12.30, singing and shouting went on til past 1 am outside room in courtyard
