  "Nice quiet position and a good sleep. Breakfast on Sunday begins at 8.00 which was too late for us as we had to be on the road early so cannot comment on it's quality." (108973216)

  Good position close to the Loire, hotel has been updated and has a modern feel, dinner in the old chapel was very good even though the vaulted ceiling was painted pink, good car parking.

  We paid extra for a superior room not sure if we got it as it was a bit cramped but it had been refurbished recently. No tea or coffee making facilities.

  Very friendly and courteous staff and superb cooking !

  Tea/Coffee making facility in room would have been very nice and convenient---apart from that--nothing whatsoever to complain about !!!!

  Hotel is nicely decorated, clean and although staff speaks little english, the service provided is excellent; Food is great.

  Far from public transportation.

  Staff of the Hotel very nice to our travelling group in every moment...this not being an esay task wwhe the group includes eight children under ten years old age. I appreciatte this very much. :-)

  "WE WOULD DEFINITELY VISIT THIS HOTEL AGEAIN. THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND VALUE FOR MONEY, THE ACCOMMODATION WAS EXCELLENT. AN IDEAL BASE FOR VISITING THE LOIRE." (3305004901)

  AIR CONDITIONING IN ALL ROOMS. lOVOELY GROUNDS IN WHICH TO RELAX. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. sTAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND ATTENTIVE.

  "The two outstanding features were the excellence of the food, for a very reasonable price, and the courtesy, friendliness and helpfulness of every single member of staff, without exception. They were all highly competent too. The whole place was really efficiently and smoothly run and if we had a difficulty they went out of their way to solve it. Car parking was good and convnient. There is a very high standard of maintenance of both rooms and public areas. The grounds were well-maintained and well-designed for the comfort of the guests. The village is confusing at first and we missed the hotel: a printable map for guests might help?" (3304991006)

  It was exactly what we would expect from this type of hotel. Very careful use was made of the space outside ground floor rooms to provide private seating areas.

  "The whole hotel experience was outstanding. This is a place to recommend to your friends who are looking for a completely relaxing time. The food was an out of this world gourmet experience.FANTASTIC." (3304845042)

  WOW...there is nothing bad to say about this hotel. The room was comfortable, cool, homely. The food was absolutely out of this world. Proper gourmet stuff!

  Friendliness, cleanliness, good food and location.

  We were in Room 301, no mirror in the actual room and no hairdryer ! (Something which we always seem to find in other hotels) - otherwise superb.

  "This hotel is excellent value for money for its two star rating, in fact this venue was every bit as good as some of the four star rated hotels we had stayed in. We had booked a prestige bedroom,which was very clean and well equipped with air con, shower, hairdryer etc. though the room was very small. We would definately recommend this hotel to others and we look foreward to going back there ourselves one day." (3304711658)

  Lovely central village setting within its own grounds.Excellent restaurant with an extensive menu and high quality food.Bedroom had air conditioning.

  Bedrooms rather small, though very clean and well equipped.

  "We would consider a future stay at this hotel, but would need to be certain that if we have a meal it is of a reasonable standard." (3304555139)

  The accommodation was very nice and we recommend the cycle hire.

  The meal we arranged was terrible, below any standard and so disappointing. There also appeared to be a lack of training to the waitress. It was explained that the chef was ill! We were given a discount by the staff off the total meal price once we complained.

  "This proved to be an excellent choice of hotel. The price was very reasonable, the staff were very friendly, the restaurant was excellent and the bar prices very fair. The location, close to the main road into Saumur makes this a good choice of hotel for visiting the area." (2277494)
