"I found the hotel difficult to find and a better map would have been better. Having rung the owner, he was able to help me locate the sign pointing in the hotel's direction in the middle of Uzes and then I was okay. The hotel is 2km out of town. On arrival I was met at my car by the owner and although his English wasn't great and neither was my French, we managed to comunicate in the pigeon style. I was shown to a nice upstairs room, advised on where I could eat and given a map too. The restaurant at the hotel was closed for a fortnight which was a shame because there was a fantastic smell coming from the hotelier's kitchen. After a long day travelling I didn't really want to venture out. That said the hotel was immaculate and well laid out, stylish furnishings and simple which was great. I slept well. The next morning I had breakfast - very French and beautifully presented with coissants, baguette, first class preserves and Carmague honey. First rate coffee. All in all a good place to stay with courteous and friendly service." (97084332)
Simple, clean room, comfortable bed, crisp sheets. A1 shower. Great views from the balcony. Well sound proofed.
