  "Very glad I chose this hotel" (107862048)

  We were extremely impressed by the warm welcome we received at this hotel. Nothing was too much trouble, the room was comfortable and we felt at home almost immediately after we had checked-in.

  Loved the location, cleanlinsess,water pressure in bathroom fantastic. Nicely heated.

  Restricted options for dinner - this is not the hotel's fault as it was off season

  "The hotel is out in the country and so a peaceful night was assured. This was real value for money and we'd visit there again. The swimming pool looked attractive, but we were there too late in the season to use it. The owner gave useful information regarding the surrounding attractions and visiting a medieval village, not 4 km away, was a highlight of our trip. It was a pleasant surprise to have found such a nice hotel at a very reasonable price." (99822508)

  Every single room has been revamped with new windows and laminate flooring, giving a clean fresh appearance. The owner of the hotel was delightful.

  The shower was a bit awkward, but the bathroom had been retiled and was acceptable.

  "This hotel is in need of updating and our room was a little smelly so didn't give the feeling of cleanliness we'd have hoped for. The restuarant was excellent which made up for the room." (1927917)

  "This hotel is in an ideal location if you are travelling into Nimes but do not want to stay in the centre or pay the prices. It is only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Ales which was perfect for us. The owner was very friendly and helped us both with practicing our French. In the morning he served a traditional French Breakfast with enough for everyone. The rooms themselves lack a little TLC and in some areas could do with a touch of paint, this could may well happen over the winter season. The hotel does have a pool which would be great in the summer. If you are a low budget traveller and looking for a friendly welcome, I would recommend this hotel." (1654442)

  Owner was very friendly, could not do enough for us. Breakfast was nice and set us off for the day.

  The building lacked a little TLC.
