    "Good" (108104332)

The room was a good size and well furnished. The breakfast was very good.

The TV was difficult to operate. We could not turn it on at first, then the remote control would not work meaning the TV was stuck on high volume. So we did not watch it in the evening because it would have caused a disturbance.

    "Fair" (108951016)

Good room, good bed, good shower, towels, toiletries. Efficient staff

I've rated my stay fair rather than good for one reason: I could not sleep for traffic noise form the motorway which was very intrusive all night long. I won't stay again for that reason

    Clean, friendly, quiet.

Have to walk outside from Annex to reception. Not great when raining.

    "Clean, warm, spacey" (107923776)

First hotel ive been too that is value for money compared to chains such as travelodge and premier inn etc. Would definately recommend and lowering prices at popular seasons would definately bring the public in. I would like to keep this hotel for the future and maybe in the future there will be offers that can make me come back every yr.

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Grange Manor. It was excellent value for money. The rooms we felt were of a high standard and so was the food. We dined in the bistro which was very good value too as we had the three course roast dinner for £11.95 which was brilliant. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and would stay again ourselves." (107598158)

"Very good, with all the facilities I needed as a business traveller available to me in a room that was sufficiently spacious not to feel cramped. Desk working area very good with comfortable chairs to sit in. " (97930765)

Attentive friendly staff, good quality of food. Good working area in the room Very good resolution to problem on checkin at reception who initially by error sent me to already occupied room but then dealt with the problem in a caring and attentive manner

Given a room on check in which was already occupied resulting in disturbing man who was only scantly dressed and somewhat annoyed at my opening the room door.

"The hotel is well situated for trips to Edinburgh, Stirling and Fife. It is easy to find and despite being adjacent to the motorway is very quiet. The bedrooms are well appointed and kept very clean. We were in the Garden Wing, which does mean a short walk outside to reach the main hotel for breakfast. This might be a consideration for someone with reduced mobility, but for us it was quite pleasant having that short walk in the fresh air each morning." (97149580)

The staff were extremely efficient; breakfast was a very pleasant experience each day; Wallaces Bistro was a great place with great food.

"from arrival to departure my experiance was very good, unfortunatly the hotel on site resturant is closed during the week, and you have to use the adjacent resturant, and being a lone female traveller, this is not always convenient, but in saying that, 24 hr room service is available, and a very pleasant alternative" (97201177)

the rooms were of a high standard and comfortable

on arrival the room was very chilly

This is the best value for money I have had in a long time, especially booking through active hotels. This was as nice a hotel for the money spent that we have stayed in. The quality of accomodation and the quality of the staff were very very good.

"The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly. Both the public areas, reception, bar, restaurant, were spotless and very pleasant. Our room was large and perfectly furnished. The bathroom could not be better. This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed at this price level." (99568907)

    The total perfectness and professionality.

Difficult access to the Wallace Bistro for disabled persons. To have to go outside for the Garden Wing rooms.

"We went to a friend's wedding reception and the whole evening was really enjoyable. The staff on the bar worked very hard and everyone was cheerful. The food was fabulous, especially considering that it was en masse and we chose the Scottish option, Tatties, Nips & Haggis! and it was simply delicious! We had the option of function room, restaurant bar and lovely foyer area as well so there was plenty of seating to choose from. We stayed in the residents bar until after 2am and the staff were still very attentive, even at that late hour." (97478481)

We were put in the Garden Rooms and I'd asked for a quiet room, away from lifts & stairs which we got. The room was spacious and very well appointed and a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom too.

"The car parking facilities were excellent. The staff were courteous and polite and the rooms were well furnished and very queit. Our breakfast in the sunny conservatory was peaceful and relaxed, and the staff attentive without being obvious. The instructions on how to find iton the website could have been a little better. My Sat Nav couldn't find it from the details on the web site, and we ended up having to ask." (99246821)

The accommodation was excellent. The room was good sized, and the hotel was very well placed and exceptionally quiet.

Nothing particularly. We asked for more milk, which didn't arrive so we had to go and get it ourselves. That really is the only thing we could mention here. Hardly the end of the world.
