It is beautyfull
The antique furnature was not very comfortable, like the bed and the bathroom and the chair.

While on business it is essential to be able to unwind at the end of the day and this is an ideal place to do exactly that. I felt that without being extravagant in any way the overall cost was a little high. The food and service was superb and compliments to the lady chef who sets a very high standard of cuisine. In an ideal world I would have preferred a choice of say two entree and two main courses rather than a set menu." (2699513)
Quiet peaceful area of location
Small but important point. Help from the carpark to the reception with luggage would have been appreciated although had I requested it no doubt it would have been forthcoming.

Touring wise, Avignon was an easy 25 minutes, and you're also very close to Lex Baux, St Remy, Arles, Orange etc. l'isle Sur la Sorgue itself was a pretty little village. We even did a day trip to l'Ardeche and it was very manageable. Food was great, breakfast was the typical French breads, orange juice and some ham and cheese. Utterly charming place, would definitely come back!" (1525298)
It was a typical French countryside hotel - very beautiful, secluded and romantic. Perfect for a special trip.
The only thing was that you had to sit down to take a shower, it was cute but if we'd stayed longer, it might have become a source of annoyance.

It was a beautifully tranquil villa in the middle of the Provence countryside but very accessible to Isle sur la Sorgue. The staff was superb; the grounds and accomodations absolutely lovely!!!
There was nothing not to like.

Hostellerie la Grangette, Velleron - Reviews & Ratings"L'hôtel (tout en pierre recouvert de lierre et de chevrefeuille) est magnifique, la nourriture gastronomique est excellente, le cadre est superbe est reposant (piscine, forêt, jardin,...), notre chambre (catégorie sous bois) n'était pas très grande mais c'est suffisant pour un court séjour, elle était agréable mais sans climatisation. Les prix sont élevés, mais ça en vaux vraiment la peine, car le cadre est innégalable. C'est la maison de campagne (catégorie +++++ !!) de nos rêves !!!" (2481837)

This was a lovely little inn with a helpful, available staff. It has beautiful grounds, a quiet pool, and delicious dinners. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
