Rooms clean and tidy, very good selection of food at breakfast and room service also very good. The hotel was in a quiet, residential area - good and bad.
As stated above, the hotel was in a quiet, residential area fair distance from the town attractions. This meant a long walk for the fitter people or taxi rides for the less active people.

Excellent breakfast buffet, swimming pool and our well-appointed mezzanine room.
Staff unable/unwilling to understand request for tray of coffee to be brought to us as we sat in the indoor lounge area between tennis court and pool- it just wasn't a service they offered, but they eventually did prepare some coffee in a thermos flask and provide a tray with cups, sugar etc. but I had to carry it to my family myself.

Very clean. Service was good. Staff friendly.
The pool area was shoddy. The water in the pool cold and the jaccuzzi did not work properly.

The dead cat left out on the drive was eventually removed after we told them it was not a good look for a hotel, the bed was big and the room was comfortable. There was a kettle tea and coffee but no milk or sugars. The gardener starts early so if your looking for a late morning in bed forget it!!
The hotel staff where not interested in customers they were there purely there for themselves.We couldnt wait to leave, if we had not paid in full on making this booking we would have moved to another Hotel. It was shocking!! you get what you pay for but at

Reception staff greeted us by name and had all the documents and room key ready. It was a very late check in at 11pm and it certainly made it a lot easier. All the staff were friendly and curtious and made our stay a real pleasure.
It was our anniversary and we hoped to celebrate it with a bottle of champagne. Unfortunately,by the time we got there, we were too late to get a drink in the hotel bar, which was open only till 11pm.

The room was exceptionally quiet by hotel standards - we were able to get a good night's rest.
The decor needed a little updating.

Nice and quiet area amongst the pine trees. A ten minute walk into the town centre but a pleasant walk. A good restaurant in the hotel and a bar area with staff to hand. It has everything you want in a hotel without feely stuffy and too grand so you feel very relaxed." (97047495)
Lovely spacious room with a balcony, ensuite bathroom and separate w.c. Extra pillows. Very clean. Good wardrobe space and hangers
The mattresses are very hard but all Holiday Inn Hotels are the same.

bath too high very difficult to get in & out of.Bar shut too early at 11pm.Breakfast hot food needed to be replaced more often smaller amount out at anyone time,help yourself cutlery stand/ plates ect. english people are used to that saves staff sevice time.lack of hand rails on steps.Swimming pool, expected to find towels in a pile so that guests could help themselves. locker keys?

Great Mezzanine room. I was travelling with my wife and two children aged 7 & 9. The kids really enjoyed the room and the stay.
Only problem was the temperature of the room. Even with the heating off the room was uncomfortaby warm. No A.C.

The hotel is a perfect family hotel with large mezzanine family rooms big enough for older children to share with parents. The staff are all very friendly and eager to help. We hae stayed at the hotel before and love Le Touquet, other than the cold swimming pool we were very happy and will be back again next year!" (99563503)
Large rooms and modern, friendly hotel.
Only complaint - the temperature in the swimming pool has been turned down since we last stayed at the hotel. It made swimming quite unpleasant!

Holiday Inn Resort le Touquet, Le Touquet - Reviews & Ratings"The entrance / reception area is very open, clean and welcoming, as were the staff who we could not praise enough, 10 / 10 to them. Unfortunately parts of the Hotel gave the feeling of being tired and in need of attention, the spiral stairs leading from the reception area to the first floor were rickety and moved when you walked up them, the pool area felt unkept as the footbath area was very dirty with debris floating in it and the pool side chairs were scruffy. The bedroom was small and the hand rails on the stairs leading up to upper area were insecure and the velux window blinds were broken. The T.V was crammed into a corner the kettle was stuck in a space under the stairs and the carpet was dirty in our room. Also no Air Conditioning in the rooms whihc got very warm in the hot waether. I personally felt that my stay in the Holiday in LE-Touquet was not really good value for the money that I paid for the above reasons. This said the staff were superbly helpful polite and could not have been more courtious or obliging no request was too much effort to them." (99583818)

We used the tennis court, the swimming pool and the fitness room,. If we had stayed longer we would also have hired bikes and possibly gone horeseriding. When booking it was not obvious that I could use my holiday inn prioirty club card and I did not then take the card with me so probably missed out on some points. We did forget to take the hotel directions with us but were able to find the hotel easily as it was well signposted." (99520058)

la chasse d'eau de la chambre était capricieuse... dommage aussi que la piscine ne soit pas surveillée pour éviter que certains ne fassent n'importe quoi et gênent les autres nageurs.

The room was extremely clean and well laid out, it had obviously just undergone some extremely tastefull decoration. With LCD television and well stock mini bar fridge, with plenty of tea and coffee sachets and tea bags to enjoy a drink in the room.

Hotel pictures made pool look full size when it was only a small pool. Hotel pictures made room look comtemporary and stylish, when the they were old fashioned and needed a make over, mattras and pillows were not comfortable and not up to the standard of a four star resort hotel.
