  The overall stay was good, the location made it easy to get places, the hotel was clean and the room was orderly. The hotel staff was friendly too.

  "The hotel is well loacted near to Puerto del Sol and two minutes from Gran Via metro - as long as you don't mind walking past prostitutes on the way. The staff were frindly and helpful and checking in and out was smooth and straight forward. I didn't realise that the hotel had a restaurant at first because it's on the first floor and there was no info in my room about this (it is advertised in the lift but I used the stairs so hadn't seen the advert). My room had everything I needed and was clean and tidy but it was noisy in the mornings (overlooking the street) and there was very little natural light (from the small high window) which made it feel a bit box-like. For this reason I wouldn't recommend the street facing rooms or the fourth floor." (97535964)

  The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.

  Being on the fourth floor with a small window onto the street meant that there was little natural light and no view. This room was also noisy in the mornings.

  We liked the location for the price combined with the friendly, helpful counter staff.

  One of the lamps in our room did not work and the air conditioning did not work during our 4-day stay (late in May). These are the only two complaints we would have.

  "Das Hotel ist sehr zentral an der Plaza del Sol gelegen, nachts ist es doch ziemlich laut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Kleinere technische M" (97159800)
