Hôtel Savoy, Juan-Les-Pins - Reviews & Ratings"Pleasant room in charming hotel overlooking attractive shopping street. We enjoyed people watching until late into the night! Almost opposite a popular nightspot with very loud live entertainment until the early hours but our room had good double glazing and air conditioning so we slept well when we wanted to! Hotel staff cheerful and friendly. Room cleaned daily. Pleasant en-suite. Basic furnishings and we would have liked to be able to make tea in the room or at least self serve on-site. Lots of stairs. Not a luxury hotel but good value for money considering its location and we loved it!" (1873717)
Superb location, close to see and hub of town. Charming room with balcony overlooking shopping street. Ensuite clean and spacious. Secure double glazed door to balcony.
Would have liked tea/coffee facilities in room or at least self serve on-site. Fresh water too!

Hôtel Savoy, Juan-Les-Pins - Reviews & Ratings"I would have liked to known the value of the location. The hotel is located pretty much on main street which is very valuable for the younger travelers. I didn't mind, rather enjoyed it! It was also even closer to the beach than I had anticipated!" (1339488)
The room I stayed in the last night I was there was wonderful! Room 7 I believe.
The room I stayed in my first six nights was nice but the carpet was in need of a change. Quite a few dirty spots. That was room 27, but overall the rest of the room was good.

Hôtel Savoy, Juan-Les-Pins - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel location was excellent, the management was friendly. Although the parking was difficult, there are available spots a few blocks away. Casino and bar district is right outside the door, yet the hotel had peace and quiet." (2235153)
The location was excellent!
I would have liked to know that there was no hotel parking. That is a problem in Juan-Les-Pins.

Hôtel Savoy, Juan-Les-Pins - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel is very well-located, but the trade-off is street noise and the drunken return of some guests. The hotel itself is generally clean but this may be hard to realise given the age and delapidation of decor, furnishings, etc. It's cheap - what do you expect! The staff are very helpful and friendly. All services, food are v.local and good. To get from Juan-les-pins to Cannes by public transport usuaully involves a wait of between 30-60 minutes but is cheap - bus takes c.30 mins, train c.15 mins. Cab will cost c.30! I hired a car for 30 per day - ask at helpful Tourist Info. Traffic during the festival is predictably awful. The first and last public transport services will curtail nights out in Cannes and the service to Antibes is more frequent than to JLP. Antibes is c.30mins walk from the hotel. When it rains it really rains - take a brolly! Also, take ear-plugs." (2105985)
Cheap, well located for shops and transport, pleasant helpful staff.
Clean but shabby. Area tends to get noisy as do other residents - take ear-plugs.

Hôtel Savoy, Juan-Les-Pins - Reviews & Ratings"In the end, I would recommend this hotel for travellers looking to avoid a hostel in order to have your own private room with private washroom facilities. The rooms are relatively inexpensive, but do not provide much in the way of luxury. However, the hotel is in a good location, very near the beaches and in the centre of several restaurant/shopping strips. It is a 20 minute walk to get to Antibes vieille ville, which is well worth a visit." (1358595)
very pleasant staff, really good location in the centre of Juan-les-Pins
cramped washroom/bathroom facilities

"The hotel is in a great spot and it is a sweet little hotel. Not too big. However, they do need to do much more to ensure that guests who are there to sleep, can. They should be strict with all guests and inform them that they cannot have any over night guests that are not checked in. It seems like they just let the rooms and there is not much quiet guests like myself can do." (99347130)
Very good location. Sweet staff.
The little Savoy is the most noisy hotel I have ever stayed at. One had to sleep with the window open as the air con did not work. And the street below is busy all night. There is no reception or supervisor over night so the hotel had guests who were having all night parties and there was no way to stop them. No discount was given when I checked out and the complete lack of sleep made the ten hours of meetings the next day impossible. As sweet as the staff were this hotel is no place to get a nights sleep. Other guests can bring anyone back to the hotel in the middle of the night an have a party, which is what happened. Any other hotel would not have charged a guest if they had been kept awake all night. This hotel did.
