Bathroom had a leak, as well, ad we had to pack and carry all our stuff to reception where we were allocated another substandard room (£118.00) no breakfast and no complimentary airport shuttle." Superior room was basic. My friend ordered an omelette that had a fair bit of eggshell in it. She was sick and even though they took it away and refunded the meal- I think they should have compensated us more generously. The night was ruined.They were pretty damn quick in taking the rogue food away

I find the check out time of 10.00 am to be exceptionally early, especially on a Saturday. I think 11.00 am would be more reasonable.

The room was lovely and the food at the deli also very good. We also enjoyed happy hour in the pub.
Only two people working the front desk when we arrived. Took a long time to check in and we were very tired. Need more staff on the desk during busy times.

It was very relaxing, Leather seats are nice and comftable with a cool drink
Key card sometimes wouldnt let you in the room or the lift, some times took many swipes

My 50th birthday treat started with you then Las Vegas, then onto Hawaii and calling in at San Fransisco on the return. Truly a wonderful and special time with treasured moments that will last a life time. But your hotel started the whole magical process in motion and none of the hotels we stayed at matched the service, quality and price. Would stay again without hesitation. Kind regards Julie

fabulousy comfortable bed. facilities in the room were fantastic. bathroom was beautifully decorated.
decor in the bedroom was good but didnt match the quality or contempory look of the bathroom & rest of the hotel as it appeared dated. Minor fault only.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were nice, although the staff were a little unattentive and it was hard to get a second cup of tea. But I would certainly recommend this hotel for a visit to Crawley" (99183848)
Our room was very comfortable and a good size too. It was particularly helpful to have a little clothes line in the bathroom to do a little washing, quite unexpected, but very handy.

The hotel was clean and very good value for money
The man first greeting us on reception was foreign so it was difficult to understand what he was saying which made the check process and giving a deposit a little confusing. The main bad point was the restaurant avoid at all costs. I don`t know about the food from the other areas of the hotel but the food in Gallucis (I think it was called) was very sub standard and not good value for money, it was very overpriced and not good, I`m not sure if it was because we were the last people in but it was only 2130 so its not really on. When we asked to speak to the manager 3 times he dispatched the poor waitress back to our table each time with a better offer to basically get rid of us. Even though he was walking around he never came over to our table to deal with us despite repeated requests.

I immediately recommended it to my brother who, with an airline pass, travels more frequently than me. Its location and setting in Crawley were a real plus with a simple 5 minute walk to the train station into London (frequent service) and a further 2 minute walk to an excellent two story mall, long outdoor pedestrian mall and a beautiful park." Personnel at front desk were warm, friendly and at the same time efficient.
The charge for WiFi access. Used to it being free here in North America.

The vital thing for us was the stress-free transfer to and from the airport thanks to the courtesy transport provided by the hotel. This was our second stay in the hotel and we are definitely planning to use it again when we need to stop-over in London. Also the food in the hotel restaurant was very good which made our stay even more pleasurable. The room itself was a good size with enough space to store all our suitecases.

The hotel was excellent, the building is attractive and the service was very good. As we were going to bed early we didn't have the full meal in the resturant but were provided with a lighter meal that was excellent. we would stay here again." (3305136280)

Clean, comfortable, good size room. Although next to railway, it was pretty quiet, lovely bathroom and good to have separate shower cubicle. Good facilities.
The tap water tastes terrible and not nice using plastic cups. Only one glass cup in the room.

Arora International Gatwick ~ Crawley, Crawley - Reviews & Ratings"Modern Hotel we initally booked for one night intending to stay in Brighton for three nights, we were very impressed with the Hotel and decided to base ourselves there and make day trips.We were looking for a quiet break with very comfortble accomodation which we found at the AROURA HOTEL.wE CHOOSE TO HAVE LATE BREAKFAST AS WE WERE LEISURE GUESTS, THIS PROVED TO BE DISSAPOINTING WE FELT THAT THE BREAKFAST HAD BEEN COOKED FOR SOME TIME AND REHEATED IN THE MICROWAVE. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, with a limited menu, catering for a cosmopolitan clientele, which we felt was a very good balance. A very large proportion of the hotel guests are Airline Staff on stopover who appeared to be just checking in and going to bed for a well deserved rest. Overall an excellent stopover Hotel for Gatwick Airport. Staff very well trained professional and friendly." (3304882667)

bed was very soft.for hygenice reasons iwould suggest that their should be a sheet under the comforter.also white pillow covers are appreciated to match with rest of the bedding

However, some of the workers should learn some manners and not be so short with guests. When a friend of ours took a set of cutlery from a table at breakfast time he was shouted at by one of the floor staff, who said we had no right to touch other tables and that we should read the sign that says 'reserved'. Its a shame the sign was very small. However, once again, your hosts at the reception desk were great and I really liked the hotel itself it would be even nicer if you had a pool. I thought the accomodation was brilliant.I especially loved the bathroom- bath and shower. I also thought the young blonde girl who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.
Accommodation was fine and the hotel itself was very modern and clean. The only thing I didnt like was some of the staff were a little rude. Especially one of the poeple behind the bar and the floor staff of the resturant. We ordered pizza from the bar to be delivered to the room and the man behind the bar walked off and started serving another person and 5 mins later he left his post. Another lady came to help us and she took our order which was delivered very quickly to us.

The rooms were comfortable and I really liked the climate control for the room. I thought the room service menu had a limited selection in comparison to the other menus in the brasserie and bar. I did not always want to eat in the Mono Brasserie every night and did not want to eat in the bar on my own as a single female. Good room for a family. Air conditioned and comfortable. Staff in bistro not phased by our 18 month old throwing food everywhere. Child menu for dinner.
Only one card for the room but with two parents this meant that if I went to collect anything from the car or elsewhere in the hotel I had to take the card leaving wife and kids in darkness

Didn't like needing to use the doorcard to make the lights work. If 2 people in room, one can't leave.

Clean and comfortable. Good facilities in the room.
External noise - my room was overlooking the railway lines. Internal noise - my room was next door to the stairs and presumably used frequently by hotel staff.
