  "The Hotel was good, reception staff were genuinely interested and friendy, even if one of them smoked in the lobby. We arrived very late at night after getting lost, the receptionist called back one of the staff who was just leaving and we were able to follow her and her friends to a nice trattoria some distance away. She even gave us her table there, she waited for a later sitting and then drove back past the hotel to make sure we found it easily. The breakfast is not very good, even by Italian standards. It is a good base for exploring areas around Taranto" (99115779)

  Difficult to find the hotel approaching from Brindisi / Lecce direction as road signage in and around Taranto is not very good and the hotel is 3-5km out from centre and 2km from nearest good restaurants. What might be consideder a 'balcony' is reached by ducking through a low door-and my wife hit her head on it so it seems a 'luxury' we could have done without. Anyway, the view was only of the adjoining building.

  Pulizia migliorabile, temperatura incostante: troppo caldo o troppo freddo. Sala colazione fredda.
