Room freshly re decorated.
The restaurant area was still being refurbished. We had booked our overnight stay with the convenience of on site facilities in mind. We had to go into town for our evening meal. We should have been told in advance that the hotel was not complete. That would have given us the option of booking elswhere - other Campanille hotels are nearby. The discount vouchers given to us are of no use because we have no other travel that would enable their use planned.

The hotel room and public areas were a little 'tired' in terms of decoration but all areas were very clean.
As English guests we appreciated the availability of a kettle in the breakfast buffet area in Agen as this enabled us to boil water to make tea, this facility was not available in Millau, tea had to be made with water kept hot in the jug of a coffee percolator - the result was not good!

Campanile Millau, Millau - Reviews & Ratings"We have used Campanile hotels a lot over many years and this is one of the better ones. Your mattresses are not always topnotch, just had 60th birthday so a bit fussy now! It was as we expected, easy to find, clean, staff polite and friendly we were pleased with its location with regard to where we wanted to visit that weekend." (99984103)
Position to visit neaarby trourist sites ie Gorges du Tarn and Viaduc Millau
No guide to locality in stock. Some wines and food not in stock.

Campanile Millau, Millau - Reviews & Ratings"The hotel was inexpensive, so you get what you pay for. However having to go down to the restaurant to use the toilet was totally unacceptable. We tried to tell the receptionist but she did not speak English. Knowing thet the restaurant closed at 2200 would have been a help for some very hungry travellers." (3304825349)

Easy to find, friendly staff able to cope with limited french speakers, comfortable and clean room with the essential (for us) tea and coffee making in the room. All round good value for money.

I had been to the south of France and wanted to return via Millau to see the bridge and therefore the hotel was convenient and a good choice of place to stay. I will consider Camponile Hotels when making further similar trips and would be happy to book in the same way." (2758218)

The information I received advised of the cancellation policy, when I had to cancel one day early I was rudely informed that I could not have a refund as I had already paid for 3 nights. We cut short our stay there due to the poor accommodation & noise." (2085908)

Friendliness of staff. Set up of rooms makes this accommodation too noisy. Bus loads of people passing right by the window late in the evening & leaving early in the morning. More thought should have been given to the location of the rooms allocated
