The roof did not leak !
Shower did not work, remote would not control the TV. the TV could only get one channel and I don't like Big Brother on C4. The staff spoke very poor english to the point I could not understand any of them, very BAD . The room felt un clean , even the windows where grubby.

Milton Keynes Hotel (formerly Comfort Inn), Deanshanger - Reviews & Ratings"General impression good but ordering food was a difficult due to the poor understanding of English of the staff waiting at table.I don't normally expect to be reduced to pointing at the menu when in England! The food itself was excellent but made less enjoyable by the problems encountered." (99319407)
Clean, quiet and comfortable
Leaking tap, no batteries in remote for TV

Milton Keynes Hotel (formerly Comfort Inn), Deanshanger - Reviews & Ratings"Located in a quiet neighbourhood which is a plus after a busy day. Very good hotel either for business travellers or for leisure travellers with all the necessary facilities. It has a quick and easy connection to Milton Keynes. Good standard and low price. Very good location if you want to explore the nearby attractions." (99506262)
I found the room comfortable and cosy with clean bathroom. The restaurant has been recently refurbished and it looks great, very nice , good food. I had dinner and breakfast. Later I also went to the nearby Thai Restaurant where i received a discount as the guest of the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful when i asked about the places I can go to in Milton Keynes. They also ordered me a taxi. As I paid on arrival my check-out was very quick. Although the hotel is not in the city centre it takes only ten minutes to get there. I'm definitely coming back.
No ATM.

Milton Keynes Hotel (formerly Comfort Inn), Deanshanger - Reviews & Ratings"The overall impression was favourable and had it not been for the one incident related above, would have been most favourable. Having said about the outside window repair, it is true we felt some of the inside building work needed attention. The grouting around the bath for example, and the dining room walls were just plasterboard, obviously not yet finished. For the most part the hotel is in a good state of upkeep and the toilets exceptionally so. Overall the pros outweighed the cons by quite a margin." (3305181681)
Peaceful & relaxed atmosphere. Nice Bar and Barman attentive & helpful. Friendly atmosphere, pleasant staff. Nice rooms.
Someone climbing a ladder immediately outside our room to attend to outside window/window ledge repairs on a Saturday afternoon whilst we were relaxing in our room. This is inexcusable. We had to draw the curtains. This should not have happened whilst the room was in occupancy.

Milton Keynes Hotel (formerly Comfort Inn), Deanshanger - Reviews & Ratings"If I had known how close it was situated to the main road I probably would not have booked it. But then I would have missed a great Thai meal at the restaurant right next door! The hotel was clean, the staff were courteous, responsive and efficient. I had a lousy night's sleep but it would have been even worse if the maintenance staff had not kindly provided me with an electric fan. I would recommend the hotel in winter when you can keep the noise out. Ask for a back bedroom." (3305058320)
It was clean and the bed was comfortable
It isn't very fair to complain about this as it was one of the hottest days in the last hundred years, but there was no airconditioning and the room's position at the front of the hotel meant that because I had to throw the window wide open to get any air at all I had an extremely noisy night right next to a dual carriageway. They should think about putting aircon in all the rooms.

Milton Keynes Hotel (formerly Comfort Inn), Deanshanger - Reviews & Ratings"The drive-in entrance was a little confusing (middle of three driveways). Plenty of parking. Well sound proofed (considering the hotel is on the busy A422). Popular bar. Good room space. Paying on checkout can delay departure if there is a queue of people." (3304747409)
The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtain very effective.
The lamp on the writing table did not function (NB I did not report this as I was late arriving). I did not see another female in the building!
